View Full Version : Changing texture pathes

Hello all

I searched but didn't find a suitable answer, so:
How can I change texture pathes of BIS ArmA models (i.e. Sundat with cover) to a standalone addon?

I know that the the path including the texture's name has to be the same lenght as in the original file but I ecountered some problems.

First problem was the ca\ shortcut which I thought was needed. The problem was CTF and error like "Out of memory" as I hit preview. So I removed the ca\ shortcut but now ArmA loads until it would start the preview game and then the computer freezes...

I used Hex-Editor MX to change the pathes.

Is it, that the model's name has to remain the same?
Is there anyone with the same problem or can someone tell me, how to change pathes without problems?

I also am wanting to release some new reskins of the civillian vehilces but cannot figure out how to do this. I dont know anything about hex editing and am looking for help if anyones interested
