Quote[/b] ]Basically, it's a cops and robbers type mission where a team of soldiers must hunt down 1 civilian guy, and he in turn must kill every single soldier. It takes place on the South Sahrani part of the island.

The civilian has the advantage that he looks just like any other civilian. He has a camp with a car and weapon/ammo boxes. Every time he enters towns and is spotted by other civilians, or every time he enters a specific location (like specific forests, etc) there is a global message hinting at his position.

You pretty much have to rely on your wit - setting ambushes, baiting, etc. You can also visit the soldier's base and steal one of their vehicles and aircraft perhaps, or just steal their weapons and ammo.

The soldiers have access to a tonof guns, choppers, armoured vehicles, etc. They start at the airport.

For them it's tense because they don't know who their target is exactly. At any time a random civvie can pull out a pistol at shoot them in the head. There are also no respawns. Every time the soldiers enter a town, the civilian gets a report on their position.

It's quite a simple mission with no fancy scripting. Really, I just made it because I wanted to play a Serial Killer-type mission without having to do all the hard work http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif

I've tested it intensively and it's quite fun and works pretty well. Remember that when either the soldiers or the civilians die you get notification and music, but you won't get an actual end. So yeah.

Wow, this sounds very similar to your mission 5133p39.

Will the AI allow me to play this single player?

No, no support for single player.

And it's actually like deathmatch in it's simplicity, that takes place in the southern Sahrani island where one team has 10 people and the other has 1. The peak of it's complexity are triggers that tell either the civilian or soldiers where they are approximately located to one another.

It was made more in anticipation of 5133p39's mission rather than to compete or to steal an idea.

The only thing is that sometimes it's more fun to give the civilian time to prepare.

Oh and thanks for your help with that script 5133p39, but I decided to keep the mission as script-free as possible.
