why, full with maps and troops does not create one mod on the war that is in air in iraq, would be much more interesting, that to be inventing uniforms and histories of war, I guarantee with certainty that much people go to support this me, one mod full conversion. if somebody to be interested itself to start to make a thing here more realistic, post here

we have that to create what if is if passing now and not what already if passed who lives of last and museum, we go to create the war of iraq, to use to advantage what we have ai that is the Armed Assault, this business of cold war already was and thing passes goes to forget this and to place more realism in this game

Google translate makes you hard to understand. And I beat your language can't translate ass belonker.

Not a personal thing, I just want to see if he'll get it.

Well, I can understand what he's saying, I just disagree with the whole "LOL MOD THIS FOR ME NOW" approach. There are tutorials available, and nobody on this forum minds answering questions or helping out provided you at least do something on your own and figure some things out. I mean, I'm still very new to addon making, but I try to find things out long before I ask anything here.

In any case, people are already at work on "mods of iraq full
of maps and troops in air". At least one superlative example is
on this very board:

[nb. I don't know if the above is the right way to link to other
topics]

im having trouble understanding this...

whats a truth team?

To make a total conversion..... If your looking for a total conversion of IRAQ, then VBS2 is your holy grail. but its not free... its way far away from free. This has every single vehicle for most Coalition armies and lots more..

TCW is just addon with iraqi styled objects. The Iraq Island is being jointly developed under the DOWNRANGE project title. Scratch mod works is making PMCs for Realistic Iraq scenarios.
I probally will also help SMW with some insurgent units.

Its all going to come together, but not magically.

It would, wouldn't it?

Why not mods about all the other conflicts going on in the world? You know, US Forces aren't the only to fight wars.

And also, OFP/ArmA isn't CQB-sim, it's a battlefield-sim, and doing it on an extremely largescale.
Iraq is alot about large, dense cities, with alot of civilans while doing insertions and alike.

ArmA isn't such game, and it should never become.

Of course, CQB can be really good when playing PvP in multiplayer, but the AI isn't as smart as us http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/tounge2.gif

I think you're looking for this thread (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=11;t=43259;st=0).

I agree, the air war is a very interesting topic. However, at heart, OFP and ArmA are not very good flight simulators. You'd have a much better experience in a true flight simulator (Falcon 4.0 for example).

For what my opinion is worth on here, I agree with all you
say except the "it should never become" part. If someone
can make it so, then kudos to them. When I worked with
the OFP "Northern Ireland mod" we were making quite decent
progress doing that very thing.

I agree with this, but I suspect that "in air" does not mean
the same in Standard English as it does in the Standard
Gibberish the original poster writes in.
