No sound from others

I have this happen a lot, and it really hinders the online gameplay.

When in a multiplayer match, all the players on the server will show no sign of firing their weapon, and I cannot hear their weapon firing. Very rare do I actually hear someones weapon fire, but I have before, so it doesn't seem to be a hard coded error.

Besides this, my game runs flawless and it hasn't given me any other of the problems that I read about on here, but this bug/error, is pretty annoying and it really hurts the online play.

Anyone know of this problem and/or know how to fix it?

SPECS: AMD64 3600 Dual Core, 2GB ram, 250GB HardD, ATI Radeon X1800 512MB

It is somehow related to JIP, and there's no fix that I know of. It's not sound/EAX/Hardware acceleration related bug because when it happens, you don't see muzzle flashes or anything else from weapon either.

This is exactly what has been happening to me. I hear nothing and see nothing that indicates that a person is firing.

Not just on tanks, but on infantry standing right beside me.

Yes I've noticed the same thing, it makes MP kinda pointless playing by visuals only (enemy in sight) as sound is such a huge part of the game. This also causes for friendly fire.

People other than me have tested it, written long bug report and how to reproduce the bug every time (JIP seems to be the key) and BIS is aware of it. Just hoping for it getting fixed soon...
