As a dutchie I of course think your military is crap http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif but this addon is already looking very nice!! Good to see the addon community is rapidly developing this soon already http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/thumbs-up.gif http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/thumbs-up.gif

http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/icon_rolleyes.gif Could we just take it as read on this forum that
whatever army one serves in or has served in or would like to
serve in or daydreams about serving in while fiddling with
oneself is always the "best" as far as one is concerned? All
this tedious tribalism is so juvenile and annoying here!
Why not open a "who's got the best army?" thread so we
can all ignore you?
@<hidden> Mr. Satchel, I apologize for the derail; I like how you have
captured that unique camouflage pattern the Belgians use. If
once the tools come out you still have no FAL then please
come back to me, the FAL/SLR is top of my "addons to be
made" list.

Have you seen even the " http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif " smiley? http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/confused_o.gif
I've been around on these forums from before you probably even heard about OFP so don't try and blaim me for flaim-baiting. I know the rules and told people to follow those rules more times than I can remember.
If you can't tell the difference between a joke and a real insult than please don't post stuff like what you did now.

@<hidden> Faulkner
Quote[/b] ]I'm not complaining. And in any case why would I ever
want to just repaint stupid yank models?
I'm waiting for the modelling tools so I can make some
proper soldiers.
You post that and then you say

Bwahahahaha....hypocrite.

@<hidden> Faulkner: thx for the Fn Fal proposition.
Are you sure it's the FAL you want and not the FNC? I didn't
think the Belgian army still used the FAL. Those guys in the
picture you just posted are carrying the FNC.
Here's my FAL "WIP" (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v692/whisky01/falrdr1.jpg). I'm actually planning to do
the British and Commonwealth SLR but a FAL isn't too
different so I was planning to do it anyway as a "bonus".
I need to wait for the "tools" though.

Yep FNC! Doh!

Yep FNC! Doh!
FNC, I thought so. I can't guarantee I'll be doing one of
those, then - like I said, the FAL is only a spin-off from
my SLR project. Weapons aren't all that hard to make (the
texturing is by far the hardest bit, and you seem to be
able to texture fine). Make your own FNC and this addon
will be exclusively yours! http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif

There was a good quality FNC made for Flashpoint by the Belgian Forces Studios. Perhaps if you got permission you could ArmA-ize it?

Excepting the Camo nothing seems to be like reality...
The Belgian flag on the side of the arm is no more, the helm and the chest webbing is not the same as it is in reality...
Wait for the release of oxygen 2 before releasing this "Belgian" addon !
Our Belgian Army is not "crappy" ! Do not forget we have one of the best Special Force group on earth and that many of the weapons used by great or small nations come from FN => (Fabrique Nationale) MAG (M240), MiniMi (M249)
We have also the F2000, P90, the Five Seven... And all of these weapon are made by our country !
Have a look at BFS (Belgian Force Sudio) Web Site and you will see what we've done for OFP.

Hi I've made the FNC for Belgian Force Studio... You can use it if you want just ask me the 3DS model and texture, but please... Wait for Oxygen 2.... And be more accurate with your "Belgian soldier"...
PS: Hi DezzerX it's a long time ago...

you are right.
actually we are using the FNC, the Minimi (M249), the MAG (M240), the AW (Accuracy International Arctic Warfare, wich is an improved L96A1) and the GP (Browning HiPower).
Our spec ops are using the FN2000, the P-90, the nine seven and the AW (probably the AWM).
about vehicles we are using the Iltis (Bombardier, canadian), the Unimog (Mercedes, german), the AIFV (YPR765 in Netherlands), the Dingo 2 (germany) and the Pandur (austria). We'll also receive the LAV but i'm not sure when.
cheers,
Jan
