Acog vrs Aimpont - update

hey guys,

i would like to make the M4SD scope view from the AIMPOINT scope to the Crosshair one found on the M4 Assault.

so in short, i wanted to replace to aimpoint optics view only to the acog so the goal is to have a crosshair sight on my M4Sd.

can anyone walk me thru this? i thought i would just unpbo the weapons file, and copy the aimpoint optic and just rename it. but that didnt work

you should try to go in the weapon config , search for the m4SD and replace the ironsight path .

it seems like the ironsight are defined with a vertice called "eye" in the weapon model. so i guess you'll have to wait for the tools http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/huh.gif

i thought i would be able to just "trick" it by replacing the files. atleast that what i did for OFP.

im still confused on how i can un bin the config in the weapon.pbo and repack it. everytime i try that, i get errors at start up AND missing files.

is there a was to un bin the config, edit it, and put it back in to re pbo it?...

you must use Unrap from kegetys to unbin config
