i'm only just getting into multiplayer scripting and i was glad to find out, that when you use instant or base respawn, you don't have to worry about scripts or triggers not refering to the newly created player units anymore. i'd like to know now, what's the best way to get group respawning to work in more or less the same way. that is, i would like to assign to the unit the number 1 (without possibly causing any problems by doing so) and have it use the former player unit's id (or whatever exactly it is called i'm talking about).
