Well i'm getting a CTD every now and then no matter what
i'm doing editor - single missions / multiplayer
The only message i'm getting is:
Armed Assault has encountered a problem and must be closed
and the usual - report to MS options.
My system specs are:
Pentium D 3,4 ghz
Windows XP Media center edition 2002 / sp 2
GeForce 7950 GT KO (512mb)
Creative SB Audigy
2 gb ram
DX 9.0c
ArmA 1.01 german (boxed version)
I installed the latest Nvidia drivers: 93.71
BIOS and Chipset drivers updated to last available
Sound driver version 11.96
I'm running the game with -maxmem=1200
and all unnecessary services or processes are closed.
My video performance is excellent with the worst
framerate of 28fps (looking through binocs at bushes or trees)
Off course no mods or addons installed - a clean ArmA
:edit
And to complete the report, here are the latest two entries
in ArmA.rpt file:
<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">

I'm having a similiar problem, no matter if i use high or low settings, the game crashes / freezes after 5-45 mins in online multipalyer without a message in the patch version 1.01, here's my new system which i setup with the latest drivers:
DUO Intel E6700 4MB, 2.66G 1066MHz
Nvidia MSI NX8800GTX 768 MB, 1800/575MHz
EVGA NForce 680i SLI (onboard Sound FX) gonna buy a new one..
4 x Apacer DDR2 +GB, 667MHz, PC5300, CL5
2 x HD 400GB Samsung SATA-II 7200rpm, 8.9ms
my only idee is to buy a seperate Sound FX Card, but i dont now if it will help. Every other game (BF2, Oblivion, etc) runs without any problem and allways above 100fps.
PS: if you see english faults, you can copy them http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif

Yup, getting the same thing. Are you guys using the Czech "My-Sprocket" downloaded version?

At least you can get it to run. I have the following setup and it just crashes to desktop when I start the game. I have the German Version.
Intel Core 2 Duo 6800 Extreme Edition 2.93GHZ
EVGA NForce 680i SLI
GeForce 7950 GX2
4GB Corsair 800MHZ RAM
Soundblaster Creative X-Fi
I get an exception fault. Nobody from BIS, Morphicon, or anywhere else has sent me any information as to why it doesn't work with my settings. I've sent them the crash files and dxdiag output. I would appreciate some response, but none has come.
Later,

I crash instantly in LAN using hamachi
I also crash alot in MP games randomly too, i noticed it happens when the mission starts or ends with water or boats http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/confused_o.gif
My version is the German Morphicon Downloaded.
System specs:

errrm sorry but it seems to go a little bit off topic now
even if it looks to be on-topic.
The 'look here' link has nothing to do with the problem
i posted when creating that thread.
So if somebody has problems with kernel32 or with
multiplayer, please post your own thread and don't
try to hang in on this one just because you think
a CTD is same like a CTD - it just isn't.
I tried to give as many information so that some ppl
can have an overview of why this happens but adding
a CTD here or there for other reasons or due to other
circumstances doesn't help anything to solve this issue.
It just makes it rather unable to become solved IMHO.
:edit - corrected a typo: manny should be: many http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif
~S~ CD
I get same problem, and I have full legal version of ARMA in German thx to buyarma.com, and patched to 1.01... I am also running the german to english translation by 6th sense.

sorry for hijacking your post here http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/crazy_o.gif
@<hidden>: sad to see you're having the same problems with such a next gen machine
I also experience CTD problems, but they seem to be only happening if I alt+tab out of the game even once, the more alt+tabs the sooner the CTD..
If I alt+tab out once and the start playing some mission (or the campaign) I can play say 10-15 minutes before a CTD..
I do get an error message, there's two of which the first is the most usual:
Quote[/b] ]Cannot create system memory surface: 8007000e
Quote[/b] ]Cannot allocate virtual memory [0mb,0mb]
If I don't alt+tab the game seems to run just fine without any CTD..
Here's one 'Cannot create system memory surface: 8007000e' in the rpt:

And now, a new thing : I got many BSOD and crashes yesterday (no setting changed, apart from going from software to hardware accelerated sound in ArmA setup ) I had not before. Happened when editing this mission (http://perso.wanadoo.fr/whisperffw06/ofp/1st_test.Sara.rar).
Now my RPT is constantly filling with these messages :<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">Strange - no material used on terrain -72,-12?

I get really really too many instabilities with this game, tbh.
Now that you mention it, in my rpt I have pages on end (dozens) of one error message, these seem to be the most 'popular':

(why does it say arcade even though I use veteran is beyond me..)

I have the same problems but only in Multiplayer. When I play online sometimes ArmA stays stable and working properly and on some other day I get a CTD after the other. When it crashes Windows error messages are displayed totally haphazardously. Sometimes CTD with the original "Arma has encountered ..."-messages , sometimes whithout any message. When the game lottery has choosen me again to have one of those lucky days to have several crashes it's nearly impossible for me to reconnect to the server I was playing on. Right after selecting the server by double-click Arma crashes again and again. I might have experienced that the more players are on the server the more CTDs accur to me but as I mentioned before on some other days it doesn't bother me. Then the turn is on the others. I spent now several weeks by changing the ArmA and hardware settings (RAM + GPU) but it appears to me to have no effect at all.
This obvious planless arbitrariness is what makes me to be astonished. That's all so illogical.
My System :
Athlon64 3700+
2GB DDR400 (I also tried 3GB DDR333 and 1GB DDR400)
X1950 XTX 512MB ( I also tried X700 SE)
ArmA 1.01 German
P.S.: If requested and helpful I could post some screenshots of those Windows/Arma messages.

Iam getting a blue screen or complete newstart of my PC randomly. This occurs in SP and MP.
My specs.
Intel core 2 duo 1,86
2GB DDR2 RAM
Geforce 7300 TC 512 MB
Slight correction to my initial post..
I was not using maxmem=1280 but 1024..
If I set maxmem to 1280 the game will get very unstable and can CTD almost immediately after starting some mission (or campaign, etc..) without any error message..
ARMA.exe stays active in task manager for ages and fails to write the rpt file correctly, looks like it fails in the middle of it

Tried with: "-nosplash -maxmem=1024 -world=Sara", either together or one at a time and with none.

You're RPT file while be located in the "Documents and Settings" folder :
C:\\Documents and Settings\<your username>\Local Settings\Application Data\ArmA
Might be another drive letter than C:\\, of course

With all respect next time you're gonna do something please take a while and thing about consequences one more time. During the installation of new patch v1.02 your installer crashed without the reason (looked like was freezed or something, anyway there was no response from it) and now I cannot instal neither v1.01 nor v1.02. What should I do now, reinstall the whole game again? Any brilliant ideas?

Found it, thank you http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif
Any news on that ? I can't play ArmA anymore. It truly crashes all the time after a few minutes of playing.
The RPT file often says something like "Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 4FD903D7".
It really sucks http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/confused_o.gif
Any ideas ?
I looked in my rpt log and it was about 2meg in size, i deleted everything in it and i have played mp for about 2 and a half hours without any crashes... I dont know if that has anything to do with it or not but try clearing the rpt log and see if that helps. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/xmas_o.gif

http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wow_o.gif sorry i forgot to post in here since i seem to have
solved it over in the german forums.
I reduced the -maxmem from 1200 to 768.
Since then no more crashes in singleplayer. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif
Though i'm still experiencing ctd's in multiplayer
but here are some other threads going round where
this is probably gonna get a face too.
It looks like lots of ctd's in multiplayer are being caused
by missions near to water and/or the parameter -nosplash
in the shortcut at all.

Same problem though I've barely touched singleplayer, ctd near water an I also believe I may be having sound related ctd too cause noticed it crashed(MP) when Helo sounds in background, checked the support page but it's what looks like a 1-800 # for Morphicon an there forumns are mainly in German I believe.

That is what it did to me when I patched to 1.02 as well. I thought it was frozen but in fact it was not, you should have given it more time, even though it says "not responding" in task manager it still is. You should have just let it go.
You should probly reinstall the game and immediately update to 1.02 and let it go for as long as it takes.

Any ideas ?
I'm have the same exact problem now with the Sprocket download version after patching to 1.02. Its become completely unplayable. I cant get through even a short mission without crashing.

Same deal Koala. I have Sprocket version patched to 1.02 as well, and crash in most games in MP.
However I have NO crashes in editor/SP.
Sproket version issue? That figures with my luck.

hmm maybe cause i have the sprocket version too... hmm try re downloading it?
Last night I had my first brief MP test in ArmA 1.02 and I can only add to the list since I experienced a couple of CTD's in MP as well. But JIP worked just great and it's a BIG relief over how things used to work in OFP!
With JIP in place I'm sure ArmA MP is ready for a huge takeoff when all small issues are ironed out http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif
Also noticed that 1.02 is more prone to CTD than 1.01 also in SP/editor if the -maxmem command is used.

Just want to add that this could be mission or maybe even server related since I had better result (i.e no CTD's) on some other dedicated server that was running C&H.
More testing is needed...

Original post:
Well, I think I found a temporary solution to the crashing problem I was having. I installed the pirated copy of the Czech CD version that I played before I bought the sprocket version and used my sprocket key. I just played an hour on a mission that use to crash every time within 5-10 minutes, and 30 minutes playing C&H on a public server. So for those of you suffering from this problem, this could at least get you playing while we wait for a patch. I wont tell you where you can aquire the CD version as I'm sure its against the rules, but I will say it can be found rather easily using a popular internet search engine.

hmm maybe cause i have the sprocket version too... hmm try re downloading it?
I have been saving that as a last resort due to the fact I plan on building a new rig and you are limited to 2 downloads.
However I have been told that if you contact them they will allow more. Not sure if I want to go thru another email fiasco as I did when I first purchased it.
Thanks for the tip Koala. I have been told that several times now. While its a bit sad that I would have to resort to that, I don't see any other options. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/sad_o.gif

I also have the sprocket version and it always crashes when playing multiplayer. It depends but most times it will freeze after a few minutes, and I have to kill the task and the bug solver.
This never happens in single player or the editor.

i also CTD because of MP game. Arma connects correctly to internet and retrieves the list of servers, and games available. but when i click on 'join' ---> CTD

Brabax your PSU is far too low mate. You need atleast 500W for PCI-E cards setup but I'd say play it safe and go for a 550W or 600W.
Also bear in mind a PSU never runs at the wattage it says on the box. Good ones will be 80-90% efficient and bad ones will only be around 60-70% efficient.
400W PSU @<hidden> 75% efficiency = 300W true PSU as an example
Alot of PCI-E cards draw 150Watts.
Your components will only draw what power it needs so you don't 'waste' electricity.
The reason you dont see much change in core temps is because the components will most likely not be running at full potential.
Also, not enough power = crashes .. generally speaking
I can sell you a 570W PSU for 40 quid if you like http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif never used

**EDIT** All those with memory errors like ...
"Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 4FD903D7"
try the below link
http://www.errorkiller.com/
Run a scan and see what the results say.
Well Preacher, I don't think this particular "Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION" relates to HW failures in most cases. ArmA 1.01 ran much more stable on the exact same HW....
Today I tried MP a bit more and got a couple of CTD's while hosting a small helicopter training mission and now tonight when playing on Armed-Assault.net's nice co-op server I got two more CTD within 45 min before I gave up for tonight....
I think I pinpointed what I did when I got the CTD's the two last times but don't know if this is helping BIS at all? Anyway below is the entry in the report file...

ArmA version is 1.02 (Cz - Sprocket version) and the last two CTD's happend when I was zooming into the scope with the SPR12 and taking a step forward at the same time (don't know if it's directly related to the CTD but I mention it anyway).
/KC
Just an update on my MP CTD problems in case it helps someone else...
I think I found the (main) reason to MP CTD's on my rig and it seems to be sound related. After lowering the hardware acceleration in the control panel from Full -> Basic it's much more stable. Yesterday I played 3+ hours on-line before I saw that ugly CTD again. My card is a plain vanilla SB Live! PCI soundcard (driver version 5.12.2.252).
So if you experience CTD's this is an easy thing to try and see if it improves things until BIS fixes it.

OK when you have problem that the game crash oftly to the desktop, check your settings of virtual memmory. You must chose option, that size of virtual memmory sets your windows self not you (not manual).

Yes, that works for me and my frend from our clan. Beffore there was no possible to play this game more than 15-20min, than crash. Afther this change we both can play 3 hours withouth crash and that was not possible before...so try it.
Set the virtual memmory size to AUTOMATIC = let the windows system to chose self size of virtual memmory.

Thanks for your reply, I'll edit this post later with the error message. I see you have EAX turned off. I did try turning HW off, but not EAX, I might try turning that off to see if it helps.
Just for now I can say I get two kinds of error messages, one where windows asks if I wanna send an error report and another where I get a message like ArmA shut down we are sorry for the inconvenience (or something like that) but I will add them later.
EDIT: Turning off EAX does seem to make a difference. I played 3 rounds all lasted about 30minutes, whish was pretty unlikely before. One off the crashes was different than I had before with only a black screen which I could kill in task manager. Strange thing was when I started the game after the crash EAX was turned on again (this happened 2 times). However if I disable EAX, shut down the game and start it again it stays disabled.
With the last crash it said shutdown in the bottom left and then got the Microsoft message:

I have EAX OFF and HW SOUND ON, onboard REALTEK 5.1 sound card and that works fine.
Try reinstall game and then play only original/official missions from game and WITHOUTH MODs! . I was trying few mods, but with some i have crashes, but now when i play withouth mods, everything is fine.
I have too CREATIVE SB LIVE 5.1 card but only with standard windows drivers (from MS) and i use this card only for TeamSpeak (audio communication), because CREATIVE dont have good drivers for his sound cards.
As i sayd, you have nearly the same computer like me and now i dont have now problem, so we must find difference between our SW/drivers.

The CTD problem seems to be a reoccuring theme in the Sprocket Czech DL version. There is a thread for that here:
http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....t=55705 (http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard311/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=68;t=55705)
I have seen people post specs for very nice and mid range systems, so it can't be something as simple as hardware.
Anyone out there smart enough to see if its maybe something anti-cheat related?
I dunno, I'm just grasping at straws here. I'm getting tired of restarting so often. About ready to give up alltogether.

I have the sprocket version too.... and it just keeps crashing! same with my other pals who got it with Sprocket.... re-downloaded and reinstalled multiple of times! Maybe its because they make us download it all at once, and not in sections like Metiboli...
Maybe its because they make us download it all at once, and not in sections like Metiboli...
I'm pretty sure it's something else than the one-part installation file.
Over the holidays we (myself and 3-4 other Sprocket users) tried almost every trick in the book to isolate the MP CTD's problem but concluded that something is broken in current 1.02 (Sprocket) version and probably only BIS can fix it. Me personally have given up MP until next patch arrives.
I hope that everyone that are experincing this problem (and others) report them to BIS so they gets enough data/facts to correct the problems.
Wiki link below gives info about ArmA crash files and where to find them etc.

I've disabled both hardware acceleration and EAX and found a good local server with very low pings. Now I'm able to play 3 hours without a single crash, when previously the demo crashed on average after 10 minutes. I could try and isolate if the difference is due to the better server or because I disabled both audio options.
Guess what! I will be back with a happy MP report later...
I've been playing for several hours without a single CTD tonight using 1.02 Cz (Sprocket version) on a great server in Germany http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif
Don't know if I managed to scare or maybe kill a gremlin here at my place but I have my suspisions and wild guesses. Will give full report later today, to tired/drunk at the moment but one thing is for sure - ArmA rocks in MP when things work!
/KC
As stated above I had given up MP until next patch showed up but people who knows me also knows that I had to give it just another try, and I'm glad I did!
Last night I played multiplayer for 3+ hours without a single CTD and below are the things that are different before that "last try"...
- Joined a quality dedicated server running working MP missions (no JIP only old OFP style co-op).
- Didn't load the TIR 2 software.
- Didn't load the TeamSpeak client.
- Didn't load my joystick software.
I talked with the admins on the server (thanks GDT) and was informed they ran missions with no JIP and no boats (boats seems to be an known issue for client side CTD's).
Their server was very stable, not a singel server crash/restart, a thing I've experienced on some other dedicated servers I tried the past week.
At least this proves that it is possible to get ArmA 1.02 Cz Sprocket version working in MP without CTD's on my hardware. More testing is needed, I will enable TIR 2, joystick and TS one by one and see what happens and if that works out OK my guess is that many CTD's are server/mission related, maybe it's related to JIP?
Time will tell - and whatever it is I'm sure BIS will fix it...
/KC
I agree on the boat crashes...dunno if jip is a problem.
All crashes me and other players\friends had were missions with boats.
We played 3 nights in a row without a single crash, a day later we played a custom mission made by a friend and crashes were random again...he used boats http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/mad_o.gif
So boats are out of the missions we have http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/whistle.gif
I first thought it was the sounds in the triggers I built in the maps, but now I think it can ben also the boats.
So in my oppinion the CTD are caused by the following:
- ALT TAB
- Sounds in triggers
- Boats
We will test this and come back with an outcome.
I agree on the boat crashes...dunno if jip is a problem.
We did a few more MP testings last night and for us it looks more and more related to how the mission is designed and maybe also JIP but all we can do is take notes, give feedback, have our own "wild guesses" on this problem and hope BIS are able to reproduce and fix it in the next patch.
Anyway, last night I ruled out that my TIR 2, TS, joystick software is/was causing the CTD's. I enabled one after one and played long time without any CTD's on my side.
Some things we noticed last night that increased the chance of CTD on the host was...
1. If one or more of the clients disconnected to the lobby and then reconnected and entered a ongoing game (JIP related)
The CTD's was not instant when client/s joined and could happend at random, sometime it was after 2 minutes other times it was after 20-30 minutes but a CTD was almost certain!
If we all entered the lobby at the same time and all started the mission after everyone "greened up" after all loading screens/map there was no/less chance for CTD's on the host even after flying 60+ minutes....
2. If the host entered the options menu while hosting a game.
The mission used for the test was a simple mission with some helicopters to fly, refuel/rearm/repair trucks and a bunch of static targets and enemy AI infantry for target practice. No boats, no WP's, no triggers etc. was used.
/KC
Last night the mission by this gamefriend was edited by him and the boats are off now.
No crashes, also not when I and others joined later in the mission(s) http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif
no more boats http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/band.gif for us untill a next patch solves this http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/whistle.gif
Good to hear ShadowY. Did players disconnect/reconnect several times during a ongoing game? Also where you running the mission on a dedictaed server or did one of you host?
Lets hope all this gets sorted in the next patch...
/KC
We are playing on a dedicated clan server or as hosts, depends on whom has new missions.
Nobody had disconnected\crashes, with some unknown players I can`t be sure on the dedi server but I guess they were just leaving.
I saw no loosing connection behind their names http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif
All missions we played last night none of the regulars or clan members had crashes, so we are happy. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/xmas_o.gif
Hello Folks !
I'm finished - I'll give up.
ArmA is unplayable - crashes to desktop at random after 2-15 minutes of play.
I installled a 700W be quiet power supply, switched my virtual memory back the hands of win xp, updated the sound drivers etc.
Nothing worked. I'm maybe too old for that, and I dont have time to fiddle around with my system. I'm tired.
http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/goodnight.gif
I'll maybe would sell my computer these days in Ebay.
@<hidden> brabax: I know your pain but try to hang-in there and wait for the next patch!
Me personally try to focus on scripts/editor/mission designs until the dreadfull MP CTD's are fixed and I'm sure they will be.

PS: next patch 1.04 will be out around 15.02.2007. Patch size around 500MB and many many bugs are there repaired and remaked.

Anunnaki, that depends on what version you have!
The 1.02 Cz downloadable version (a.k.a Sprocket) CTD's with or without boats and in that particular version the CTD's seems to be related to JIP/respawn as well as mission design.

My crashes have nothing to do with boats. Most people are aware of the issue and aviod these troubled missions.
The problem I am refering to involves issues with the Czech Sprocket DL version. The link is to direct others with that version experiencing frequent crashes to the thread dedicated to that very issue.
I am hopeful that the patch will fix both the "boats" problem and that of the Sprocket version crashes.
The CTD during Multiplayer only happens in an internet game for me.
I have the CZ Sprocket Download version and when playing an Internet Game It will crash after anywhere from 5 minutes to 45 Minutes of play. But in a LAN game I can play for about 2 hours, and then I quit and restart my PC because there seems to be a memory leak. The games gradually gets slower and slower. After a Fresh restart we can play for another 2 hours or so on LAN. I think its a network error of some kind related only to internet games. Just gets triggered by JIP and boats etc... Something to do with game sync.

The CTD during Multiplayer only happens in an internet game for me... It will crash after anywhere from 5 minutes to 45 Minutes of play...
I bought at the begining the Morphicon german version of Arma with which I did not have any problem like CTD or so few.
However, after bying my second copy (the 505 Games ones) last week, I got similar problem than Avman in multiplayer after between 5 and 40 minutes.
Indeed, after 30 min in average of play in multiplayer, I all the time get a CTD with the following information stored in my XP Error reporting (in msinfo32) :
19/02/2007 12:39 Application Error Application défaillante arma.exe, version 1.4.0.5121, module défaillant arma.exe, version 1.4.0.5121, adresse de défaillance 0x0042e775.

Note that all my hardware driver are up to date making me very disapointed at the moment.
Note that I manage to uninstall the German version prior to install the 505 one by cleaning the registry thanks to the Ccleaner tool and deleting my Arma and Arma other profiles manually.
However, I wonder why after the re-installation, my other profile re-appear by default after a new installation making me think that's the uninstallation was not so clean.
Any of you would have any idea for both the profile stuff and especially the recurrent CTD on Multi would be welcome.

I also had a CTD after playing the campaign. I was on the second mission after doing the sniper from the tower to which I failed. Then I selected the part where I had to hold off the enemy from the hill, can't remember mission name.
I died and selected to play as another soldier and started firing for a minute or two and all of a sudden, CTD. I have the new 505 version. I don't play the game anymore, and won't until the game is fixed, so I'm back to flashpoint for a year or two. Great but unstable game still with texture and sound issues.

I have posted before on this subject but different thread, i had the morphicon german version with the language patch, it ran fine until about a week prior to the 505 UK version release, then it started playing up showing the exact errors you guys with the sproket dload were getting.
I uninstalled it prior to loading my new UK 505 version and was somewhat surprised to see my old profile in the interface, nonetheless i carried on the game ran like a dream for a couple of hours then i got the dreaded 'ArmA has encountered a problem and needs to close etc.
By now very concerned i uninstalled my 505 version, cleaned registry of all Arma files and deleted all arma related files, from my machine so with a fresh install of Arma I carried on . The game ran beautifully for a couple of hours then i recieved the same message and was returned to desktop, but this time i noticed a sound anomaly before the game crashed this leads me to believe it is either my sound card (SBLive), Teamspeak,or certain sound files within a determined area of the game. I have posted this all over the place and there seems to be no known fix as of yet , i am hoping that it is an inbuilt bug within the game and patch 1.05 will cure it , cos at the moment it is too unstable to play mp games, and i am just a bit more than slightly pissed off with it, however as i played OFP for nearly four years i have faith in BIS that they will be able rectify it.My system specs are :
Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe
Athlon 3000+
Radeon X1950 PRO 512mb
1.5 gig of DDR Corsair ram.
Power supply is 450 watt unit

Edit* Anyone who can understand C++ programming can tell you more but from what i understand it is a conflict within kernel 32 dll, either server side or client side.I dont think any
amount of changing drivers, settings will help, this needs to be addressed by BIS programmers, hopefully patch 1.05 will cover it. An example is the definition of this code, 'StartServiceA' which uses advapi.dll which basically aborts the process, hence the ctd. Right its late ,im
knackered goodnight. If my interpretation of this is slightly incorrect , then sorry i am a bricklayer not a
programmer http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/icon_rolleyes.gif

I can rarely enter a Multiplayer game cause this usually ends to a CTD. My hardware copes very well with the campaign but I would like to one day go Multiplay.
Has this issue been tackled in the new patch?

SBSDelta, those aren't generated messages, they are message strings hardcoded into Windows executables. When an error occurs, the executable reads what you read and displays it.

Thanks for that mate, cos i know jack about coding /programming, that was the only part of the entire minidmp file i could understand http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/icon_rolleyes.gif .Just trying to resolve what is a really annoying situation.
