Well here goes, basicly theres only been one template so far that i have seen, the one released by Placebo. Alot of people have said they want the other faces so they can modify them instead. So i took the time to extract and pack all the ArmA faces into a .rar file and upload it too Rapidshare.

File Size = 40MB

Image Size = 1024 x 1024

Its great you spending your time doing this for the community but, didnt Placebo release ONE face template for a reason?

There are still some people on this forum who may not own ArmA yet. Those that do own it can access those faces themsleves if they wish. Those that dont own it yet can download the faces via your link, meaning you are distributing copyrighted material on BIS`s own site - not sure that is a good idea to be honest.

If I am wrong - sorry, but isnt extracting parts of a .pbo and distributing them wrong? http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/confused_o.gif

Well reading your post made me shiver a little bit...i´m not sure about this aswell.

Yes because I forgot to go back and release some others of different ethnicities for the people in the community for whom the one I released made it impossible to create a custom face for themselves http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif

Your concern is appreciated but I don't think there's any harm in this, the faces are of no use to anyone who doesn't own ArmA http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif

Just place a face.jpg image in My Documents\ArmA Other Profiles\[profile name] then select custom face in game

Im finding for other faces in the some .pbo's

Ive found:

4 In Total

1 looks like a older guba, also a older version of the template, things are placed differently than the new one.

Also another 3 faces were in it which wernt in the orginal files

Surprisingly i found all the Bohemia Interactive Team OFP faces packed into it aswell lol.

I did find the female news reporters face but sadly lost it, i do remember than it looked quite differnt to the male faces.

i did a little desaturation and removed specular on some faces:

and now i would like the game to use these new faces without overwritting the old ones, just make a new pbo to put in my addon folder, what i have to do ?

yes i know to custom my face but i want to replace all characters faces of arma, i am supposed to create a new pbo and put it in my addon folder right ?

just change the faces to your likeing but dont change the filenames then re pbo

hi, the face pack sounds good but how do i use em? it says i have to open it with a picture editing software eg adobe photoshop but i dont have no photo editing software? No, you have to use Winrar to "unrar" the files and THEN place the one you want in your profile folder http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif

Ok i downloaded WinRar and extracted the files but im dissapointed...they're all normal and i was hoping for sum camo and maybe a few balaclava faces...who wants to walk around as a zombie?
