Win XP & MP

Hi,
when I click on Multiplayer->New->Ok nothing happens!!! This is only since I installed XP. Does anybody know how to fix thsi?

setting up a new gamehost works for me. Maybe post some more details. Did you enable the internal firewall?

You're on the right track, tlx. Windows XP installs Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) and the Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) by default, so unless Meister turned them off himself, they are blocking MP games.

To change this, go to the Control Panel -> Network Connections -> Local Area Connection -> Properties -> Advanced, and uncheck the checkbox.

No... My brother Runs Windows ME, and he is having the same problem too... he doesnt have any firewalls eaither...

You can't host if you have Microsoft's ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) installed, and that exists on 98/ME/2000/XP. Have him check to see if he has it installed.
