I went to EB Games last week on my regular circuit looking for old copies of OFP to bring to a good home. Anyway, they also had a new OFP:E, for $30. It's the only one I've ever seen in stores, and I was pleasantly suprised to see they're still asking that much for it considering how long it's been out. Now the question remains will I spend the $30 on a game that I'll likely never be able to play, accursed consoles...
I can't find a copy of it any place. I found myself one used copy at EBGames but all my buddies who I've turned onto the game can't seem to get their own copies-new or used.
Some clerks actually laugh at me when I ask for it. They look at their little computer screens, kind of make a funny face as if it reads 'no copies ever' or something to that effect and then they break it to me gently. lol I had one clerk tell me it was a game for children under 10 and that I probably wouldn't be interested in it anyway. lol I corrected him http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif
I hope this is a re-marketing campaign or something, we need some more copies in Canada! lol

I just picked up a used copy @<hidden> EB for $25. They had one other used copy, as well as having it new. I had been debating buying it, knowing I wouldn't play it as much as the PC version, but I had to give in when I saw it for $25. If only more people could look past the visuals (which I think are more than acceptable, considering the vast landscapes), they'd see what a great title this is for the Xbox. And it does have some nice little improvements over the PC version.

That god-forsaken store will never get a penny from me.
I've seen it while browsing amazon.com (how I hate their stupid 'intelligent' advertising - scares the hell out of me sometimes). I would've bought one had I the inclination to own a console.....
...which is highly unlikely to ever happen

I've just bought three original copies of Flashpoint on ebay, one copy of GOTY to backup the one I already have, two copies of the gold upgrade red hammer campaign, and one copy of the resistance upgrade.
They'll be going into a fire-safe in years to come and will be kept indefinitely. I might see if I can grab another copy of resistance just to be sure.
