Hey all,

I've been reading all the posts and info for a while now. ***You guys have a lot of great info in here. ***This is probably one of the better forums I have read, very mature which leads me to believe the gamer this game attracts are more mature-that is refreshing http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif lol

I am about 3/4 of the way finished (from what I have read) the OFP campaign, I haven't yet started the Resistance campaign. ***I read someone's post that advised to play online well and to avoid ruining other player's matches that completing the missions/campaigns offline will aid in the over all game experience online for myself and for others.

I just can't take it much longer, I really want to get online and play some co-op. ***My question is; are there any Canadian players sitting silently like myself waiting for a post just like this who want to get on LIVE and try some matches out? ***

My main concern has been that my connecting to over seas or distant US hosts will ruin other player's matches with lag, and I know I wouldn't appreciate that much, I can imagine others wouldn't as well.

So basically, I'm open to suggestions here. ***I have a few buddies who are hooked on the game but it is a very hard game to find around here-I got lucky I guess and found it used.

PS-I did a search and wasn't able to find any previous threads about this-I don't think it is against any rule I read-if so, sorry.

Thanks everyone.

I have not met alot of Canadians on OFP but I have no problems at all with my friends in Europe. Australians tend to be the hardest to connect with well. Add my gt NAXAKSTA if you wanna try out some games with an American for giggles.

I'm in Canada, Southern Ontario. But unfortunately I am stuck with dial-up....still!!
I live in the country. I have high hopes for this new wireless technology, that takes advantage of power lines.

Great, sounds good. I'll have to add ya. I'm glad the connections are pretty good, I do get some great matches of Battlefront2 in with some UK players (real late at night) and I get the same crappy connection to my AU friends. Forza seems pretty good with AU for some reason.

I'm in southern ON as well, just east of Hamilton, ON.

Thanks.

Got it. You missed some killer games this afternoon. We usually play around 10am - 2pm during the week pacific time.

Doh! I'll have to translate that to EST and hook up with y'all soon. I usually play week nights after 8 and weekends pretty late, 2-3am sometimes. I'm getting too old for that stuff but if it's fun I usually can't stop.

I've been playing Splinter3 with my cuzn during the week lately. I'll keep an eye out for you.

Thanks again.
