I just recently got xbox live back and during the time I didnt have it i was playing OFP: elite.. love it so far but I was just thinking as i set up the same program for BF2 a sub divisional clan called the night stalkers (yes the 160th).. This will bring out the best pilots out there and vehicle commandeers.. BF2 was successful in this for a few months at the beggining of it release but the vehicles are too unrelistic and easy to menauver so alot of people were getting close to getting in off the tests. So i found this game and it fit perfectly.., standards are very high just like NS so it won't be easy, there will be grading and levels of success(gold, silver, bronze.. etc). A site will be set up and will have 3 sets of different forums and stats. This can help out in many ways to individuals with clanning pending on your skill level in that area. If a clan wants a experienced DAP pilot they can search up a NS thats looking for a clan and ask. Its not a clan so there will not be practices just another trial test every 2 months or so. Tests will include flying between buildings and high speed and landing on the road before exiting the city.. or as a chinook pilot, getting away from 3 russian aircraft in less then 1:50seconds. It will be private as in it will not be overloaded, just selected few for each level. I just want to hear thoughts/questions on this idea before i put in time and effort for it.

Just mimic real world training. Gunnery ranges, timed shooting events, navigation courses, etc.

Yes thats basicly it in a more simple manner. I just want to bring out more great mature players instead of the "whinny kids".

Just tell the kiddies; "you wanted a simulator well now you got one soldier. Now lets double time 40 kilometers! Go go go!!!"

The great thing about OFP:E (because of its sim setup) is that you can nearly do everything you want. Your imagination is the limit.

Well it wont be just like the above or maybe not nearly even close. There arent many league's in this game that I am aware of (correct me if im wrong) so here how my idea might work..
-Apply and go through the "requirements" then be placed in a starting division(lets name it bronze) as you win more matchs you move up the ladder to ( silver and so etc..)
Possibilities for laegues inside this one can be endless.. and can fit your group that you want to play with the better you play. I can also split up the euros and the NA's.. I just want more idea's and suggustions for this if im going to start. Turned my love of of BF2 for this http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/whistle.gif
judges will be selected from OPF players.. i have no go on the say since i dont have the experience for it.

I only play co-op. For co-op you don't need these clans, ladders, etc, you just need some good friends:)

jup, and saddly without, most co-op on live sucks http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/sad_o.gif
you can have an co-op clan, but then it's 100% about stats and not about skills vs skills

i always enjoyed co-op more then the team based missions, wich also can become sweet tactistic games. But most op the peeple on live are hexenkessel type of players, no real tactics and not even playing together. they are just running towards the enemy base and hope too survive throughout the way.

a bit offtopic: but join in progress should be turned off in co-ops, it isn't that realistic, and when you're halfway in a mission and someone joins you have too wait or they'll have to try and get up with you and try to survive on their own the whole way

I restrict it even further to 'Friends only' coops. But i fear in the light of 360/GRAW that most of my friends will wander off in that direction.

Even with 1,2 or 3 friends you can have very impressive co-op session. Normally my team in my own mission is 6 soldiers so the AI serve as a respawn ... I admit it is not totally hard-core, but it can makeup for the one lousy mistake you sometime make:)

(btw paragraphic, i haven't been online lately, in case you've sent me a FR)

I guess for this game it probably wouldn't work out considering there will be more negatives then positives and the fun will not stick to it. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/confused_o.gif http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif Hopefully I can play with some of you guys http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/tounge2.gif
