well um,
considering that wwIIol is a massive multiplayer game, encompasing a half scale map of europe and hundreds of players at the same time..
i would agree the graphics arent as good as ofp
of course ofp only involves three islands and about 20 players max..
but um..
...
yeah. ok.

still look at the graphices....
most game reviews gave it bad reviews considering it has bad FPS, and grahpices.
did I mention the graphices? http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
Does any1 ever seen something like Wargasm?
There was posible to drive a vehicle (tank or APC), fly chopper or walk as a soldier. It was more tactic game than FPP, but U were able to choose, what U want 2 do - command with 2d map or fight in 3d.. But game hasn't got THIS SOMETHING what OFP has http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
Ah.. graphic was very nice in Wargasm.

silencer, it could just be your comp setup.
for me the graphics arent exactly as good as ofp
but still gorgeous
nothin beats flyin a spitfire over the french countryside...
this game is purely amazing, i wouldnt suggest you just throw it aside just because of the graphics
if you are a multiplayer war sim fan this is the dogs bollocks as far as im concerned

You could walk around and do anything you wanted in battlezone aswell, long before fp or wargasm.

Battlezone kicked ass. But it didn't have tractors so OFP is better.
WWII Online is something unique in its class.
OFP and WWIIOL are not comparable with each others.
First of all, WWII OL is massive multiplayer game with hundreds of square kilometers as play ground.
OFP is for single play and 'small' multiplaying with just about 10 square kilometer islands.
Indeed, OFP will have better graphics in this case, however, what WWII OL looses in graphics, it gains in the unique gameplay.
There really isn't any comparable game to WWII OL; which would model air, ground and "navy" (fairmile? wheres my schnell boot)
Whats more fun than grabbing BF110 and strafing some helpless ground units http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
All of them real players!
Also one big difference between OFP and WWIIOL is persistant world.

look at the reviews on game magazines...
I looked at the screenshots off websites and the graphices are still bad.show me some of you're screenshots http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
Wow, Silencer, you graphically spoiled bratwurst, Gameplay makes the game, not graphics.
Which IMHO Ofp and WWII Online both have, big time.
Plus, peaktime the server maxes 2000 players.
{EDIT} I forgot, WW2OL isn't going offline anytime soon, it has around 10,000 paying players.

2,000 players in a server http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif '
imagine the frames per second!!!!!!!!
considering that wwIIol is a massive multiplayer game, encompasing a half scale map of europe and hundreds of players at the same time..
well the most players ive seen was 275 at once.. then the server crashed..
the graphics are ASS
as for the MASSIVE maps.. they dont play too well when ya only have ~300 people...
WW2OL STILL sucks...
by the time they get it working as advertised it will be obsolete.
