Hi all

I've got OPF GOTY and the original and OPF:E. Now everytime I've played the game I've come across different storylines (well missions), eg, in OPF GOTY I remember one mission as James Gastovski (not sure of the spelling) and the mission was to get into the enemy base and get information (Guba's plans) from Guba's house. This mission was not in the OPF:E campaign I just played. Does the storyline vary on how you are doing overall, or is it based on difficulty?

On another note, I have a query in relation to communicating to one's troops prior to engagement in OPF:E...I've got through Veteran in OFP:E with my troops 'keeping low'...I don't know how they survive 'caus they're mostly standing.

Is there no all 'Danger' setting? So as to get them crouching, it bugs me that they're all standing, when I know troops aren't supposed to do that when they've stopped moving (and no, I don't want them prone http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif)

I have no idea how to get them to crouch. You think the "keep low" command would do it.

Noticed that too. I thought they would go crouchy all the time but no. Maybe they become more cautious.

I've noticed that when you tell the AI to engage at will, they actually go out and start hunting the opposing forces. I think in the PC version this would mean just shoot what you see or know about. I think that BIS made the menu smaller/more compact for the xbox so it would be easier to select items from the menu.

Engage at will will make soldiers go out and start hunting the opposing forces in the PC version too!

Learn something everyday. I aways thought they would still stay in formation and just shoot what they know about.

Haven't played OFP:E, but from the PC version:

Keep low: When you stand, your squad will stand. When you lay down, they will lay down.

Engage at will: As stated, squad mates will run out of formation to try and engage enemies they know about.

Engage: AI seem to stay in formation while shooting at enemies.

i think engage only works if they're on hold fire.
they will move into a position within range where they can take a shot at the enemy and report ready to fire
