And yet so many are too blind to see it..oh well..if its graphics there worried about then they can go to crysis or other games of the same nature. Gameplay over Graphics.

ArmA = OFP 1.5(or rather 1.75)
This press release (http://www.virtualbattlespace.com/press_usmc_vtk.htm) about VBS2 :
Quote[/b] ]Bohemia Interactive is working closely with the USMC to finalise Virtual Battlespace 2 (VBS2), a
completely new product based upon the brand new game engine Real Virtuality 2.
Coupled with the informations (http://www.armedassault.eu/news.php?rowstart=11) about esport interview :
Quote[/b] ]ArmA is based upon the same engine as VBS2
Seems to suggest that Armed Assault is not "OFP 1.5" or "OFP 1.75" anymore, but is now near to be a "OFP 2.0".

Ok before I say what I want... let me just say I am a huge OFP fan, and I am very much looking forward to ArmA.
Now... ArmA is NOT OFP 2.0 at all. To call it that, is to close your eyes to the facts that ArmA lacks alot of new features. Sure, we have bigger island, better graphics, some engine limits have been fixed, more scripting commands, and even bullet penatration. Sure there are some other new features as well, but nothing to make ArmA anything more then OFP with a new coat of paint... there are no BIG gameplay improvements.
We are still missing BIG features that have been wanted by the community for years, that would have improved gameplay... moving on vehicles, destructable buildings, modular weapons just to name a couple. Im not saying theres not a really good reasons these features will not be in ArmA... just that lacking things like this, ArmA is not a great leap from OFP in terms of gameplay. My point is... most of the major changes in ArmA have been the graphics. As where new gameplay features have been left out. The only great gameplay change is the collision detection, but OFP's was so horrible, its only right it be fixed in ArmA.
As for VBS2 being built with the ArmA engine... I find BIS saying this as strange, since not too long ago it was stated that VBS2 would be built with the Game2 engine from what I understand (could be wrong). Which is far from the ArmA engine.
Either way, if it IS the ArmA engine... it would make one wonder why VBS2 has features that are not in ArmA but will be in Game2. Such as destructable buildings. Placebo pretty much said they are not in ArmA becuase of technical limitations in his radio interview. Yet its clearly stated they WILL be in VBS2... so if VBS2 and ArmA share an engine, then they should be possible in ArmA. So why are they not there? Its pretty clear they are in high demand by the community, and if the engine can handle them, why not add them. Unless they are being held off intentionally for Game2...
yeah some game engines have a long life due to thier code like a certain flight sim i use that was written for twin cpu's many years ago. This sort of code is big spendula and its where coders can become legends in cyber world.
Not like a quickie (some other companies) !
I follow thier industry with interest and i have a lot of respect for BIS and OFP. Im guessing here but from what ive seen in OFP and its progression id say its matured and thats what we need from such complex engines. On our latest KA pc's !
A brand new big spendula engine thats promising a simulator type experience if you want...expect some patches/tweaks constantly regardless of time in developement.
I always have a need for this http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/yay.gif
- Kinetic energy, round penetration, breath system. <=== these all make gunfights a lot better.
I'd like to ask what that kinetic energy thing is. As my physics knowledge says it was the effect when a high moving energy (is this the correct English term?) object hit something, it transfered its energy to the something it hit (for ex. if you shoot somebody with a shotgun from close range, he flies a few meters back). But it's already in OFP, so what are we talking about? Thx
there is no advanced physics (like kinetic energy) in OFP, some effects was made using scripts, thats all

I'd have to ask, like Lizard, what do you mean by kinetic energy? The shotgun example sounded like a pretty good example to me, and I did physics too. I will add an example - man hit by car, man flies backwards (though car doesn't, I must admit http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif ).
Perhaps give us an example of what you are talking about?

Morphicon (http://www.morphicon.de) has now confirmed the release date for Germany on their website. 30.11.2006 it says on the Site. They also advertise the preorder through Amazon.de (http://www.amazon.de/gp/redirect.html?link_code=ur2&tag=vbs1center-21&camp=1638&creative=6742&location=/gp/search%3F%26index=video-games-de%26keywords=Armed%20Assault%26_encoding=UTF8) for Armed Assault. Aparently it will be then shipped to you on the 30th.
Question that remains is...will they dub the voice files?
If not I think this might be a good chance to get your hands on ArmA on date.

The term 'kinetic energy' simply refers to energy (power) that is generated by movement. For example, a kinetic wrist-watch does not require a battery, as the power for the watch is created when you move your arm. Not sure how this could apply to ArmA though... http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif

Wrong, you've watched too many Holywood movies. If shotgun actually did that, then the shooter would have to "fly" few meters backward too. Mythbusters rule!
Read This. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinetic)
As I understand it this already exists, not only in this but most games. Also I was under the impresion that some/most/many buildings would be distrucable...

Sorry, I wasn't clear enough. I meant OFP's existing feature: take a shotgun (I recommend LSC's Mossberg M590, downloadable from opf2.info), and shoot an AI guy from a distance of 10 meters. He will fly like a bird, Mythbusters or not. Or take a handrenade, using the latest ECP, and drop it towards a BMP. If you lucky, you can hit the armour, and it will bounce from the grenade, because the ECP handgrenade weights a brutal mass, 100.000 kgs or what. My point is: even OFP counts something kinetic energy, altough OFP has its own physics rules, but they exists!

So what are you saying,, if you shoot someone with a shot gun at point blank range, he will just explode in a bloody mess and not move back at all?
If an very strong adult decided to punch a child or a very small adult just under the rib cage, im quite sure the smaller person would be moved and i dont think the large adult would move at all

You're talking about two completely different things. This argument makes no sense at all. Your fist does not have recoil. A shotgun does. I think that the effect of a point blank shot to a person would have a lot to do with the kind of ammunition used, but I highly doubt that the person would fly back any more than a foot. Just look at the way a 50 cal sniper rifle effects a person. It knocks them down - it doesn't push them back.... I know it's kind of like apples and oranges comparing 50 cal sniper rifles (or machine guns for that matter) with a shotgun but... http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/banghead.gif
Right and if the body flies back its prolly more from muscle contractions of getting shot.
Woot !! ARMA release date for Germany, what makes them so special? lol I am German descendant. Can I get it too?

Yeah, I'm an eighth German - what about me?
I think what we need is for the original plaintiff about kinetic energy to elaborate. There's a whole ton of stuff he could have meant, collisions, knocking stuff over, ballistics, etc. Kinetic energy is pretty damn broad.

your right about one thing this is a ridiculous arguement, the only way we can say anything other than , i think this would happen is for one of us to volunteer to get shot with a shotgun at point blank and frankly i dont care that much.. so why dont we all stop pretending we have doctorate in physics and just be happy the damn game is finally coming out

i've heard this from a few people now and im also starting to believe it, ArmA is looking like a slightly upgraded (or "glitzed up") version of OFP, and while this may or may not be the case it seems to be based upon what the designers at BIS would like rather than the community, and was it not last time with OFP, the community which made it so much of a success? For instance, the moving on vehicles idea in the one post, or the customization of weapons in another, of which it is BIS which has preset weapons, so they've added a lift but wasnt that an addon obtainable in OFP, granted it wasnt spot on but it was good enough, im as eager to try the game as many people on here probably are but it doesnt seem like the have done much to it (other than good graphics, JIP multiplayer and a few other things), anyone got a cost for the game? Counter my arguements as you please as i am probably far wrong.
EDIT: sorry but i see the posts of what people would really like in the game and seem that they arent as they are good ideas
Well, the weapon customization seems to be at hand...
As for the walking on vehicles, I must say I find it odd not to be in ArmA, since apparently it's possible in VBS, if I'm not mistaken... so at least maybe there is hope that it will be integrated into ArmA at a later patch. The dynamically destructible buildings have been proven to be possible already in OFP by the community, so there's hope that maybe, if BIS doesn't make it possible through a patch in the future, that the community will provide it as a possibility. I also hope that in the future BIS will implement tank interiors (I do have to wonder though - if OFP addons are supposed to be easily implementable in ArmA, why don't they just refurbish their old models a bit but leave them with at least all the same "functionality" they had before, like interiors and such? http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/huh.gif As for the variety, if CWC and Resistance are included, we should hope to find all that was in CWC and Resistance also in ArmA...).
I'll give priority rather to base gameplay issues like being able to do briefings fully in the ingame editor - and maybe have a more readable radar than the stripe in OFP...
I for one would definitely like to ArmA come out as complete as possible from the start, but I understand that BIS is under a lot of pressure to bring the game out ASAP - I hope that whatever ArmA turns out to be in the beginning, will at least be bug-free, and whatever will be left over to do will be added through patches later on.
BUZZARD @<hidden> Sep. 07 2006,12:38)]As for the walking on vehicles, I must say I find it odd not to be in ArmA, since apparently it's possible in VBS, if I'm not mistaken...
It was demonstrated as technically possible in VBS but was not apparently released. We don't know what problems and unfixable bugs existed ... (massive MP lag? collision detection problems etc)
The videos of this 'feature' in VBS were frankly rubbish. Basic physics was ignored, soldiers were able to stand on accelerating trucks, whist off-road and making tight turns. In fairness to BIS they knew that which is, presumably, just one reason why it wasn't released and didn't appear in Arma.
PitViper
Sep 7 2006, 14:33
I would consider "walking on vehicles" more of a technical "stunt" without much true effect on the gameplay. I believe BIS's time is better spent on other things. That's my opinion.
We don't need to walk on vehicles, we need to be able to fire from moving vehicles.
There are clear blue skies, yet it looksl like its overcast. This really disappoints me, and frankly looks like crap.
Depends where Sahrani lies geographically and the time of year. Clear skies in Florida in Summer would be very bright, but clear blue skies in England in Winter would look even more washed-out.
True, but I was under the impression that Sahrani must be somewhat near the equator considering the southern part is tropical, and thus would have some fairly bright sunshine.
i think the same weapons like in OFP some new lookin weapons like AntiTank or the new M16 A2 or M4 Carbine also a new american model.. i dont know which year the conflict in A&A is playin but the American side have much better and Modern Weaopns than the Russian Units they are strong but the same like in OFP 1985 and USA have units of the 90ties... and there is not a T90 or T80 http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/help.gif i heared you need 4 hits to destroy a abrams with a Launcher .. i dont know ? and the Kalashnikows are from 1974 AK74 the new model of Kalashnikows in the russian army is black and looks little bit diefferent i have no idea about he details.. but it is a another weapon.... they should change this.. maybe ? http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif

Numbers... The US are outnumbered by the north sarahanis, and an AK47 maybe be old, its just as deadly as an M16 when used correctly ('1. aim in general direction of the enemy 2. pull trigger 3. repeat) http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/yay.gif

Exactly.
Maybe they have 4 t72s for every M1, or more anti tank troops, or more ground attack helicopters, etc.
Exactly.
Maybe they have 4 t72s for every M1, or more anti tank troops, or more ground attack helicopters, etc.
you need 4 hits to destroy a M1 there i no balance! do you remember in OFp how many times you have to hit a Tank before you destroy it Bmp - Shilka 1 Hit T55 2 Hits T72 3 and finally T80 4 Hits and back to the money.. they are poor but they have a lot of 72 hmmm strange no money but sooooo many tanks http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif ok enough of this.. i want the game like you want it.. im just here to describe what im thinking of this game.. i love it.. but they should cahnge many things.. to make this game perfect.. i will wait until the first addon came out..
im becoming a A%A freak every f***** day i wait for some new informations.. and nothings come.. this is so depressive.. and in this forum i can loose some agressions.. when im writing bad about the BIS team.. to make them also a little it angry and let them know how it feels when you are waiting for a game for 6 years and they still dont when the relase date is cmooooooooooooooooooooon !!!! http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/goodnight.gif http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/goodnight.gif

WOW.. look at banner 6. i really do hope those VEhicles and animations will be used in the actual release * i see they addressed the flag issue in banner 1 *
Also on picture 6, water looks fu*ktastic. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif Hopefully it's not some out-of-the-game render.
Well all of those shots are renders, so I wouldn't get your hopes too high, even though the water in Arma is massively improved.
The details like soldiers wearing BDU camo and foliage in the last render also suggest that those were made months, even a year or two ago.
The alternative explaination is that these are the first pictures of the Marines ... Though I don't know if anyone can say whether the gear they are wearing is even close to that used by the US Marines?
Edit: Nah, look at the radio position (behind shoulder) - those were the original models we saw in the early screenshots.
Errr.........I think those banners are a bad idea. It’s one thing to photoshop ingame screenshots, but renders are a totally different story. It’s almost like advertising that the game has “crysis” like graphics (especially banner 6). I know it’s “only a banner” but, I still don’t like. My .02 cents. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/crazy_o.gif
Well anyone who takes the banner as what the real thing looks like probably should spend more time looking at screenshots.

Quote[/b] ]know that my posts are diffycult to understand for you but i think that the game is maked fo the us market they have 360 mill people in the USA... Europe have only 320 or so.. dont missunderstood me.. this is my school english i would explain it better so you guys can understand 100% what i mean...
Entire europe's population is somewhere between 700-800 million i think. The united states is definetly under 300 million somewhere around 280.

The 2000 census puts us at around 281 Million. 2006 Estimates are around 299 million.
Hi all
The population of the European Union alone is
461,500,000 according to
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Union
According to the CIA Fact book it is 456,953,258 (as of July 2006 est.)
https://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/ee.html
Of course the European Union does not include all European countries all though most of those not yet in want to join.
In 2005, the population of Europe as a whole was 728 million or 11% of the world population.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europe_population
so CsonkaPityu is in fact correct.
Never the less a game has to make it in as many markets as possible. Nowadays the big markets are increasingly becoming Europe the US and Asia owing to the growth of China and India.
Succeed in any one of these three and you will do well do it in all three and you are sorted.
Kind Regards Walker

The OPFOR side is NOT, I repeat, not Russia. They are the Communist North Sahranis, and like most communist states they use Soviet Bloc weapons, older, Soviet Bloc weapons, like the good ole crappy-for-concealment AK74. Sure, modern Russian forces use the funky new matt black 74M, but North Sahrani is behind in the times.

if you see the screenshots of OFP2 or Game2 you will see they are usin the same guns like in A&A..

Yes, well there is a diver unit in the FDF mod that can "swim." The camera stays above the water just like when an ordinary unit slips into the sea but rather than dying the unit seems to run on the floor of the sea.
And as far as swimming goes, didn't some guys mod some divers or something for OFP?
The COC divers iirc. I downloaded them with the scripts etc but never got around to installing.
I'd think it would be a nice touch if some fish were included, it would really add to the immersion to have them swimming and shoaling in the shallows. I can't imagine the AI for fish would be any more difficult than birds or rabbits etc.
However at this late stage the game is probably in feature freeze, the remaining time to release will be used for testing, finishing off existing stuff, bug fixing and more testing.

Yes, I'd say that you should expect a few months (and hopefully not years) delay on a US release looking at the pace BIS is currently taking things... and plus, that was the way it was done last time, if I'm not mistaken it took 2-4 months after the initial Euro release for OFP to come out in the US.

I don't kow why you would cast more speculation on the release dates. It seems as if new release dates are rolling in by the week.
BIS should have learned from there mistakes with ofp. This not finding a publisher and raising tensions could be there form of adding hype to the game within the community, ya never know. Finding publishers and getting the game published is the part where their hard work pays off and the dollars start rolling in and the part where they get paid.

of course, you could be right, but you can be just as wrong - take every day as it comes and see what happens - I'm pretty sure BIS wouldnt delay a UK/US release for the sake of pissing us of, would they?

Gamestar shows ArmA in GS-TV which you have to pay for. But it seems they're more confident with their current version than the one they had from E3.
Heute geht es in GameStar-TV militärisch zu. Wir widmen uns in der Sendung dem realistischen Taktik-Shooter Armed Assault. Hat sich was seit der auf der E3 gezeigten Version getan? Ja, hat es. Was genau, erfahren Sie ab 18:00 Uhr.

I think they are the same thing but normal mapping uses a larger frequency of colors, rainbow spectrum vs bump maps black to white spectrum, thus getting more details.
Here's (http://files.filefront.com/testing2avi/;5506800;;/fileinfo.html) a new vid showing a tank battle (100 tanks), leaning, animations, 3D ironsights and some ballistics.

I find the sprint and crawling speeds to be horrible. BF2 was more realistic in that aspect. Other than that, awesome stuff.

What's bad in that new video:
- Ironsights don't lean when the player leans... not sure if this is a bug, but it sure doesn't look right. At least this happens in OFP.
- Agree with Tioner that crawling is far far far too fast. Bloke looks like he's on something. And that running animation is bloody gawky.
- The viewdistance couldn't be more than 2000 metres... I thought we were promised an astounding view in AA... each video seems to have a smaller viewdistance.

It was stated at the GC that BIS was still working on implementing some of the animations. So I wouldn't worry to much about this yet. I like the way he jumps to a prone positon form running throwing his legs into the air. Very nice...
Also the Tank battle was very impressive. 900m view distance or not. It was cool to see all them Tanks seeing bashing each other.
I tried this just now in VBS with about 30 on each site...I lagged so bad I "hard closed" my VBS.

and where do you draw you knowledge that it is some beta thing from? To me it looks just like they did absolutely nothing to change it from OFP. And because I can't remember seing anything different so far in any screenshot/video (if someone knows more I'd be happy to see it) I cannot assume it is planned to change.
But yeah I know it's not finished. However I'd just assume that if they wanted to change it to some more realistic model of tracers we'd seen something about it by now. After all that would require some code changes, preferably with a value in the magazine configs defining what shots of the magazine shall be with tracers. (i.e. every xth shot or the x last shots of the magazine etc.) But I didn't find such in the wiki nor in any media released so far.
Anyway arma looks nice but that's not what I want to see (I'll have to turn most of the gadgets off anyway because of my crappy computer). What I want to see is less engine limitations and more freedom for modders.

i didnt draw any knowedlge, but i dont think anyone bar BIS themsevles has the latest build of Armed Assault. These pc review guys are still probably swanning around with the E3 demo http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif
but seriously, i cant recall flashpoint having white line tracers visible in the day. All i can determine from that is that they were put in during the development to visually see the ricochets working, it seems clear from that video that the guy was firing into the ground to test and demostrate the ricochet. Hopefully i trust that the visible line would be removed from Arma, as i agree its horrible, but i truely believe its just something put in to be able to test the ricochet
As for the return of the green/red tracers as in ofp, i havnt seen anything demponstrating whether its still there, gone or replaced... hopefully they've got rid of it, otherwise i'd assume we still have the option to turn off star wars laser tracers, like in ofp http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif
Donnervogel
Sep 16 2006, 12:47
the white line tracers for all sides and weapons are vanilla OFP. The green/red line tracers are community modded color values for the tracers. You're just playing too much with modded OFP it seems http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif
No, green and yellow are the default colors for east and west.
Donnervogel
Sep 16 2006, 12:54
Yeah technically you're right. The east has slightly more greenish and the west more yellow but tbh I never see a difference in the vanilla settings they're so similar. To me it all looks "whiteish". However the community introduced those thick clearly red and green tracers later.

actually i think its not a bug, when it goes into looking into the aimpoint sight the arms move to show the gun moving to be vertical so the soldier is aiming correctly rather than /, even though he is still leaning his aiming isnt
hopefully that makes sense,
i also think the crawling is too fast, although that may be the sprint version rather than the standard crawl, like OFP. i think the running seems slow motion as well, like on the hrej. GC vid (i think)
BUT, this is still an older version so i expect BIS have already tweaked bits and pieces that we've pointed out

The stance transitions are great i think.
The walk on crouching is not, sure you can do it in RL but you wont be able to aim for shit and your knees will hurt in a matter of seconds, they took that from other games but it wasnt needed and it looks silly, i hope its reconsidered...
The body rotation is the old spin around with no body motion but with the legs spread like that its not looking very.. well.
The movement animations feel a bit rough, maybe its because of all the units the engine can handle or maybe its something to be improved further http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif .

About the lean. I suggest you stand up and try leaning how the unit does in the game. It hurts if you go out as far as he does with your legs stationairy. Now try it and bend the leg out that your leaning on so it looks like something like this: http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y137/Westy159/moomoo.jpg
It feels much better.

True, they should indeed let the soldiers legs move as well... He will never be able to shoot in a stance like that.

they did ? when and where did they say that, lol.
surely not, i thought they only said it was a game from the creatos of flashpoint ?
it would be a travesty if "operation cashpoint" was to be called a sequal.

Placebo said in one of the numerous interview that Armed Assault and VBS2 are sharing the same engine.
And earlier VBS2 was stated as using the "game2" engine.
so when it comes to the engine itself, Armed Assault should be very different than the " OFP:Elite for PC ".

Quote[/b] ]What engine will ArmA run on and what changes will it have?
It will have improved OFP:Elite engine, that means higher distance view, option of massive multiplayer battles and others. You can see many more trees now (you can uproot them to create barriers). Other changes are much more detailed towns and new object destruction capabilities.
i wish bis did make official statements in these forums, its all confusing
ArmA will use Real Virtuality 2 Engine. I belive VBS2 is meant to use the same one.

yes all 3 use virtuality 2, thats not a problem, i just wish would give clarity. if they are now calling arma the true ofp sequal, that means people like myself ,who waited since 2003 for ofp2 and the new direction it would take, i.e rpg style play will have to atleast wait until 2009. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/sad_o.gif. anyway, i better stop now, i am whining about nothing lol. what will be will be.

if the engine has been updated then arma updates is the correct thread. now be a good boy
i dont see how your "damn i want to buy the game again" and reposting a link,is contributing more than the talk about the engine is.
martinovic, I'm not talking about ArmA being the true sequel or not. I'm simply 'replaying' what BIS has said. I don't even have an opinion about it.
And you're not a mod, are you? http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif

No, this is for progress updates about the games development.
How do engine updates fall outside the realm of "updates about the games development" ?
On Topic: IMHO, calling ArmA "OFP2" is both right and wrong. Spiritually, Game2 was meant to be "OFP2" technologically, in terms of development ArmA is "OFP2"
Personally, I prefer to take the spiritual route in this case http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif

I think about it a third way... ArmA is a non-numerical sequal while Game2 is the true "OFP2." http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/rofl.gif I know, wierd thinking, but I agree with deadMeat. ArmA, in terms of technological development, is defintely miles ahead in comparison to OFP. In terms of gameplay addition, I wouldn't consider ArmA much more than a OFP 1.5. This is not at all a complaint as I saw OFP's weaknesses solely being in the presentation department (graphics, audio, ui). All of those things have been drastically improved upon, making a "measly" 1.5 instill a feeling well above a 2.
This, of course, is only my opinion,

well having watched the 2 videos now, i am very impressed with the music, should make some nice cutscenes, editor well much the same ,which is a plus, if it aint broke dont fix. animations ,hmm i think bis xhose the most flat footed guy in czech to go into the studio http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif. view disatnce is becoming an isssue with the latest videos, obviously we gonna need quite alot of power to repoduce those early shots in game.i think people who enjoy joint ops will love this game, people who loved ofp, will agree that , whilst graphics were never on the want list for playability, it does look good with it. they have given us mutli turrets and good mp join in progress. altho ultimately ,i feel this game will need a successor far sooner than ofp res ever did.and finally it seems you can send addon .pbo with the mission so theres scope for fun there :0.
one frightening moment was when the chopper pushed the ai out of the way,he stood there like a total tard, always hated this when you was trying to manouver and they stood there, you had to run em over.
These new videos have confirmed my worst fears.
Arma has been severly dumbed down as far as realism goes.
There is no more fatigue modeled in the game.
There is still super recoil.
I guess we were right to be scared when they made it "mainstream" because right now the mechanics are probably on a CS level.
The two players in the mission killed probably like 2 platoons of soldiers. Thats like something you find in a james bond or medal of honor game.
The AI runs around like it is completely retarded. I think I saw the AI fire back at the player only a couple of times in the video. Other times they just ran back and forth in front of the player instead of getting in cover and shooting them.
It still seems the same as OFP...only worse.
Right now I am questioning whether or not to actually buy the game.
But the music was pretty good.
i dont have see the Videos ^^ i hope that are good Videos...:)
