WHAT THE )(/(%#&/¤&#"&¤#% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I have a slow connection, really bad this evening too, 2 hours to download the Red Hammer campaign. Had my Visa card ready to pay for the goodies - guess what! My country is NOT ON THE LIST - and if that´s not enough - the bleepin transaction failed. I have enough money of course, and my bank told me there is nothing wrong with my Visa 2 days ago!

So what in the #¤#%#¤% is the #&%& problem??

I am so unbelieveable pissed right now.. was looking forward to finally check out the Red Hammer campaign and strategy / editor guide.

Thanks for nothing, Codemasters, if you are serious about the country list:

United Kingdom
France
United States
Republic of Ireland
Germany

I am NOT going to call another country just to be sure I get this right. I hope they will do something about this a.s.a.p.

The other day I was about to register a domain name at www.registerfly.com - guess what: They declined my card, then they charged it for the money. I have e-mailed them but they have not answered in 3 days now. I am royally pissed. Then this happens. I had my bank check my Visa card because of Registerfly, then they told me it´s ok, nothing wrong.

And I bought a DVD movie from Play247.com today, no problem. SO WHY...

rrrrrrrrrrrrrhhh

must relax, take deep breath.. puuhhhh... there there

BUT I WANT RED HAMMER NOW!

So where is the downloadable version? I was looking at their web site last night and couldn't find it.

Ah, I was looking on the e-shop page, not the front page!

So am I right in thinking that you have to download an installer and then that downloads and installs the game after you enter your credit card number? So you can't re-install it if your machine crashes or you have to reinstall to get rid of a beta-patch before installing an official release patch? It's bad enough that I can't download it over the fast link at work rather than a 56k modem at home, but if I can't reinstall without paying again that would be really dumb.

Either way, the way it's set up I think I'll buy the CD version instead.

You download the whole package and that's it. When you run the installer, you only need to send your payment info to aquire a license. It seems that this license is stored on your hard drive (in folder \C_DILLA\SafeCast Product Licenses\) so my guess is that a reinstall checks if you're already a customer.

Ok, that's not so bad then; unless it's another of these "change a few things in your system and it won't run again" jobs... I have a fairly major upgrade to do on my system in a month or two, at least adding another hard drive, swapping the other two drives around and probably changing the sound card.

Search The FAQ (http://www.theavonlady.org/theofpfaq/) for "Red Hammer backup".

Should have known you'd already have it in there 8-).

I just picked up the CD from a local retailer. 39 DM (about 20 Euro), cheap for what you all get IMHO (heh, it has the v1.30 patch and the new RedHammer campaign and I can pick it up anonymously!).

I have DSL, but I found it easier to install it from CD-ROM, have anything handy etc.

Is the CD-R not available everywhere?

Haven't seen Red Hammer CD over here across the pond (USA). Really want it for Christmas.

Got it from Best Buy. Seems to be the only place with it...
