Hi folks,
I have this great game for two days now and it is EXACTLY what I was waiting for for the last 4 years ***http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/yay.gif
I don't play on PC because I don't like sitting in front of a monitor after work (which is sitting in front of a monitor for 8 hours...) and I am a loser with mouse and keyboard but King with a joypad (Quake on Dreamcast comes to mind - the good ol' days ya know ) so I enjoy the smooth controls with OFP Elite very much. I don't have anything to complain about this little gem especially because I am sick an' tired of the so called "tactic shooters" on console for the AI is so braindead that it is no challenge and therefore no fun to play these games. Graphics don't help here because I usually get bored with the gameplay and quit gaming so no graphics anymore to see ***http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif

I do play boardgame consims (Advanced Squad Leader e.g. if someone knows this) and prefer a challange when playing wargames and OFP is a video consim imho and that's what I want to play. So Kudos to everyone involved with making this war sim playable on the black box!!!! ***http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/notworthy.gif

Back to my topic: I'd like to have a guide that is about the game i.e. strategies, tips, units, background, player modi etc. whatever. I can't find anything like this except two walkthroughs on gamefaqs (I don't want walkthroughs, but more in depth info on the game itself) and I know there's a Prima Guide included with the gold edition of the PC version of this game as a pdf file.

So would anybody be so kind to send me this pdf file and who knows some internet sources that have such guides and in depth infos available? I surfed thru tons of fan sites the last days but wasn't able to find anything beyond modding and brief overviews. I do know about the Avalon Lady FAQ, but this is only online, I'd prefer to have something to download and print out for better reading.

Thanks for any help and good gaming to all of you... http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/xmas_o.gif

Cheers,

Strategy:

"act before you die, think before you act, and find cover before you think"

tip:

Play like it's your life on the screen

If you want you can download some of RCIR's video's, they show ingame footage (Pc version though), and I can tell you they are very experienced players http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif .
