err.. i dunno completely pointless topic ?
There is a cooler one in the Xbox section at Eurogamer.net (http://eurogamer.net/index.php?platform=xbox) with the old well-known BMP and russian soldiers below the scope and some Longbows above it.

They had apaches in 1985. Check your facts.

The Longbow has the added radar mast, though. I don't think the OFP Apache is a Longbow.

Ofcourse I know that, but the helicopters in that ad are still D-model Longbows.
-Did that hurt? http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/tounge2.gif
@Galbaldy and Uziyahu: The Apache A-model entered service in the US in '84. The Apaches in that OFP:E ad on Eurogamer are Apache Longbows (D-models). They entered service around 96-97.

Nah I just think I forgot 5 years of my life but I couldn't remember them that well anyway http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/rofl.gif
Hmm,I can't find that picture of the D,if its on that Eurogamer website,I checked all the screenshots and I did see one of the apache in the air,is that the one ya meant?
I'm quite suprised that OFP:E is getting such a great review from all these gaming magazines and such,I thought they would have been very gripy about the graphics but I guess there are some that actually do care about gameplay more http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif

There is an ad on the right side in the Xbox-section on Eurogamer (http://eurogamer.net/index.php?platform=xbox)!!!! ***http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/whistle.gif
I wouldnt expect a review from Gamespot yet...
It really depends on what insider connections they have with Codemasters and BIS.
I know Lionhead's game The Movies went gold, they sent anearly copy to Gamespot for previews, and that very day Gamespot released their reviews because they had the game for about 2 weeks.
Lionhead's game came out in the US the same day OFP:E did, November 8th.
I don't think, or am not aware of BIS / Codemasters sending Gamespot an early copy when the game went gold, because we would be seeing the reviews by now for sure.
