Yes, I was impressed. It felt like I was playing the game for the first time again.

The mission where you have to capture Guba is different to what I remember. This time you actually have to search for him. I used a hunch and found him pretty easily though.

The very, very last mission was a drag really. You'll all know which one I mean. It took ages and I didn't feel like it was worth it in the end.

There are some minor changed throughout the whole campaign. There is one bit which refers to the Resistance campaign but you'll get to that yourselves.

Resistance is unlocked about half way through CWC. Now I've started that. Troska's voice has changed. Shame I liked that Pierce Brosnan sound.

Some of the missions are different.

On the part where the Col checks out the base while you have R&R and he gets ambushed, You don't leave by a truck but by a Chinook. Some missions seem to be tweaked in areas like start positions (like the one where you need to destroy tanks in russian base and the ambush one). I think it's good that it wasn't exactly the same.

I love the voice actor for Troska (PC version).

Yeah, sounds like BIS is changing the dialogs (and story) like George Lucas for Episode 4-6 DVD set, to fit the "prequel campaign" http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif

All what happened is that James Gastokski (i think it was) was remembering him and talknig about Troska, saying he was brave etc etc.

Yeah, Victor Troska's voice actor on PC was very good, I thought, even if his accent didn't fit.  He really seemed dedicated to the emotion of the part.

Haven't played the Resistance campaign yet on the Xbox since I want to complete the CWC campaign first.  But the voice actor for Victor Troska was brilliant. If, as you lot have said been changed I will be dissapointed.

Troska was too emotional and theatrical (spl? http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/crazy_o.gif ), plus the voice sounds in resistance had this weird pitch that was very anoying (PC).

Yeah, there's nothing emotional about seeing peaceful civilians you're acquainted with getting shot.

Can anybody help.....I've got to the end of "Rolling thunder" mission on the Cold War Crisis (XBOX). I have completed objectives except the last one....BUT I have been in the town for HOURS (Montignac) and it is definately held and secure.....no enemy around. The mission will not end though.......any ideas as I am finding this to be the best game I have ever played.....just frustrated that this mission won't end. I have unlocked Resistance missions, but didn't want to start them until I'd completed Cold War Crisis.

Can any of you experts help?

Thanks http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/banghead.gif

I don't know about this particular case, but when a mission fails to end it is mostly due to one or two lone enemies still guarding the periphery of a city.

You may have overlooked them, so the best thing to do is to send off some of your teammates to scan the area/attract fire. One of the things to bear in mind is that when you are in charge, you don't have to do the running all by yourself, let your buddies work/take the first fire for you.

i like how you can disable the tail rotors on choppers and watch them go into a tail spin. i noticed it when i was in a Vulcan and hit the tail section of a hind. that was cool.
