So anyways, some people have posted that they've been told the game is delayed in Norway/Sweden/Denmark until November, this is what I've just been told by CM......

None of them have OFP:E.

Released Today/And shipped to people who order it to their mailboxes today..  for 399Kr (~41,39€)

I can add to this that none of the local stores I checked today in Sweden have it in stock. They were supposed to get it, but didn't. One of the major mail-order/webstores in Sweden (webhallen.se) had the release date set to 28/10 until today, when it changed to 4/11.

I've had it confirmed a second time that Atari (distributor in Benelux) distributed the game last week.

Any of you in Benelux/Scandinavia, can you confirm what stores you tried, in what city and when please?

All stores say the same; "Release date not confirmed - not in stock".

I tried several "Game" stores in Stockholm, Sweden during the weekend. None of them had it or knew when they were getting it. They had the release date listed as 28/10 though.
One of the major webstores (webhallen) has it listed with a 04/11 release date.

In Australia the main distributer has said it's available from the 31st of October, but it's not (it's the 1st of Nov.) and may not be for a few more days. Nah it's the 8th in the US. In Australia it's supposed to be the 4th, but EB had it for the 1st. then on Monday the 31st of October Atari who are the Australian distributer had up that it was out in retail stores as of the 31st. So I called around today (the 1st.) and EB say tomorow now, so we will see.

I emailed Atari and they said it's been shiped to the retailers (as of the end of last week) and should be everywhere by the end of this week at the latest.. There is no street date for it here now, so they can sell it as soon as it's in....

So check your local EB or whatever tomorrow after midday and you may get a pleasent supprise.

Yes I am an Australian too. I have a bit of knowledge on how the distribution works here as I used to do freelance revews of games. I still keep a fairly close watch on things. I'm just incredably impatient when there is a game I really, really want and can't get my grubby little mits on it. Just checked with Spaceworld (Ski, Norway) again. Still no OFP and they don't know when either. They said "probably thursday or friday because those are the typical days for new releases".

well its released in sweden now, I missed to see how many copies Discshop.se had in storage from the start cos it says "1 left". It could be 4 or 15. Also webhallen has it in storage. 9 copies for online order and 5 for shop. Well I find it interesting atleast.

No don't give up. I can tell you it's worth the extra effort to get it. I had never heard of this game untill about 2 weeks ago and then I looked up everything I could find on it. With the help of Placebo I found this site and then this forum and a lot of my questions were answered and I decided to get this game.
I have it now (not trying to make you feel bad just telling you what it's like) and I can say it's the best FPS game I have ever played. I have never come accross a game that has what this one has. I have left a few bits on gamefaqs.com about it and how I have become a total fanboy of this game.

My Live games have been like no other gaming expirence I have had, more fun than ever and the people I was gaming with were vets from the PC game and they treated me like one of their own.

If you want to get a gem of a game then this is it. It would be a shame to loose a keen player because a few store clerks couldn't get their orders right. What the hell are they doing in the industry if they don't know what they are doing http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/icon_rolleyes.gif
