Hello all!

Just thought I'd post a brief intro as I can see myself hanging out here the coming months. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif
I'm a 30+ simulation enthusiast, although I've mostly played console games the last several years. Therefor I'm very pleased to see OpFlash released for the Xbox!

I'd also like to mention that I help run a site for older gamer (we define older as 21+ http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif ). The site is FRAG (http://www.fragraceandgame.com) , and the idea behind it is to be able to easily find a game with those of a similar age and with a similar approach to gaming. We're eagerly looking forward to OpFlash Elite, and will hopefully be running numerous sessions focused on realism.

If this sounds interesting, please drop by and say hi. If not, I'm still looking forward to chatting with you here! http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif

Cheers,
Foxis

http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif Thanks!
Rest assured I will share our experiences as soon as we get our hands on it. You might want to give Game a call and tell them to release the preorders a bit early. Please? http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif

I'm happy to see I'm not the only 30-something around here, and I really liked the info about 30 being the average age...! http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif

Just wanted to let you know that we're gearing up to run some team based mini-campaigns - ie. a string of custom missions where the next one played is decided based on the outcome of the last. This would take place over the course of an evening (2-3 hours).

It's early days yet, and we haven't even started the mission creation yet, so drop by and introduce yourself!

If you're over 21, head to www.fragraceandgame.com, register, and then post an intro in the forum. Let's play this as it is intended to be played! http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif

I'll be 59 next month. My only regrets are two -

1. I'm still running a 1997 Mac PowerPC (well, that's not actually a regret. It still does most of the stuff I ask of it.) and can't afford a new PC for gaming. (And that's the reason I bought an Xbox, hoping some of the better PC stuff would trickle down.)

2. I'm still on dial-up... can't afford the higher priced spread.

I try to make up for these two deficits by watching old Steve McQueen movies and riding my '02 Honda Interceptor faster than the law allows.
