Although i won't be buying Elite, I'm still kind of curious to see how it plays on the xbox. Will there be a Demo available with any upcoming xbox magazines ?

obviously, you know OFP from PC. maybe you read something about ofp elite / previews or saw some videos. i do not need any demo. i am sure that this game will be what i expect - great!

A demo would have been nice for getting the word out about the game.

I noticed that BF2:Modern Combat is now released on the 24th of October, and they've had a demo out for months.

Once again, it looks like word-of-mouth is going to have to constantly educate noobs about the existence of OFP.

Demos are always good - actually it was the OFP demo that got me to buy CWC in the first place. Don't think I'd have spend money on the game without having experienced it first.

You sure? I thought they said the bf2 demo was released 2 days before the game.
It was out in the Official X-Box Magazine a month or two ago.

Well that's the point of a demo. If someone isn't to sure on getting the full game, playing a demo might just help them change there mind. I've played a demo months after the original game came out to see if was worth spending the money on or if i would like it.

Check out the competition. The BF2 fan is ragging on it pretty hard. (They're real proud of their unrealistic "hot-swapping" feature, which is meant to make up for the fact that their A.I. sucks.)

The mods here are'nt very found of cross-board wars.

Personally I feel like crying when I see those "LOL consoles are for 5 yar old n00bs lol"-posts.
