I was wondering what type of unit will there be in Armed Assault, will there be swimmers like the modders have made for flashpoint and other units that werent in the original but have come in so useful for making missions.

Best we can do right now is guess. Until the all mighty Placebo, Marek or Ondrej say anything it can be classed as rumour. Although I'd like to see swimming implemented from the get go this time, we can see that great new sea more, up close and persona! I hope naval warfare has a bigger role overall actually and that you're able to go below the waterline (ie dive). It'd make subs much easier to mod in then.

Yeah that would be i think having a lot more naval warfare, it would be better if there were submarines as well as this could be the start of so many missions eg find teh insertion team sub or find the sub with the warhead aimed at hq etc. Also i think maybe more nature objects as well eg cows und goats anything really as flashpoint was to quiet.
I rekon it'll just be the same units as we have now (you know what I mean) But maybe more varients, Like Black Ops with all the weapons http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif

Hopfully theyll change it we dont have 'Black Op - XMS' and such cloging up your editor list but some way of just selecting a 'black ops' then having drop down boxes of all the avalible weapons and equipment. That way we dont have ten different Black Op's in the editor with different weapons or also having to write a good few lines of code in the init box to remove his weapons and add our own. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/confused_o.gif
