I know this would sound weird but i,m not really good with terms like this, i keep hearing people saying they are so exited (sorry if i spell it wrong) about the new physics in the upcoming OPF games...

So what are physics and why would it improve the gameplay in the new games?
I think eveyone here exept me can awnser this...

Right now if you blow a satchel under a car - it (the car http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/tounge2.gif) will most likley fly hundreds of meters up in the air. Improved physics could solve this problem and make the car react in a more realistic way. A short answer but I think it's enough to make most people understand the importance of improved physics in the new games.

What about coallition detection (or something like that) you hear about that a lot too, is there maybe a site that anyone knows where all these terms are explaind so that i dont need to ask it here all the time.

I dont think there's any site with that kind of info. But for those who wonder what collision detection is, its pretty much what it souunds like. I could try to explain it;
One of the errors caused by the Ofp collission detection is that it's often possible to run straight through walls. And another one is that if two cars crash into each other at full speed they could end up just driving through each other. With improved collission detection these faults would not occur. Hope this short info is enough.

Of course, maybe we don't want to deprive X-Box players of SOME of the more unusual fun of OFP, like bicycle-launching...
