I hope that I am not in the wrong forum? http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/whistle.gif

But what I want to know concerning ArA is, what kind of mulitplayer support can we expect? (instead of jip)

- How many players will be supported for instance on map "sara" (24,32,64?) (map is much bigger than the ofp ones)
- Will there be a client-server based admin tool?
- What are the hardware specs for the server?
- Will there be new game types? (instead of DM, CTF...)
- Will there be any online statistics?

Thanks for you answers http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif

Its doubtful there will be any online stats or admin tools, but as far as gametypes and amount of players go, it is only limited to how the mission editor specifys it, resulting in hundreds of possible gametypes and even hundreds of MP players (although that could get quite laggy http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/whistle.gif)

If it's anything like now, the amount of players will be determined by how much the server can handle and how many slots there are on the maps. Otherwise BIS would probably notify us of any changes from that direction.

I haven't heard on any word of this so I'm not really sure. Again, we'll learn more as BIS releases more info closer to release dates.

Minimum specs would probably be given to us by BIS later on as progress on the game continues.

Styles of play are really only limited by the imgaination of the mission designer. The designers of the missions determine what kind of mission it will be. Wether its CTF, DM, C&H, or some kind of CSAR/Hostage Rescue, S&D, etc, it's completely up to them.

Exactly what do you mean? A scores tab like ingame of OFP now, or some kind of way to keep an overall score of all the times you play online?

in former times some players recorded on an webserver (http://www.ofpserverstat.com) following information:

player name
played map
played server
kills / deaths

it would be awesome if BIS would provide this information into an log-file or something else. i do not need a "central ranked server" but for an internal clan statistic it would be nice.
