what date will the server software be released and it will support windows/linux yes?

also any other details abou the server software such as will it be simlar to the ofp software

It's not been announced, untill it is, noone will know.
But, a good guess can be made from this : When was the OFP server stuff released in comparison to the game release?

No the dedicated server came out in September 2001 with version 1.20.
