Hi @<hidden> all

At first, thx bis for Ofp-AA it&#39;s looking good and the things in the Press release sound very good. It&#39;s that what 56k/isdn user
ever wish because the High texured Packs are soooo big.

But I&#39;ve some question about AA as player, islandmaker and missionmaker http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif . First: Is it the the Original campaign from 1985 Flashpoint or a complete new? Second: Is 100% compatible with the island(s), missions that I&#39;ve made with the actual Flashpoint? Third: Is it possible the convert (I say convert) the Original Islands from 1985 Flashpoint useable in Ofp-AA.

And last but not least http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif , Wich HW specs will be AA have?

1) A complete new campaign.

2) From what we&#39;ve seen and heard, it is compatable with islands and missions from ofp1, BUT I&#39;m guessing that since most of the classnames of units will change, you would need to change them in your mission (e.g. having SoldierWB in your mission may not exist in Armed Assault so you have to change it).

3) Yes, I&#39;m sure thats possible.

4) Nobody knows, but I&#39;m guessing if your computer can barely run Ofp as it is then it wont be able to run AA.

They probably have changed the look of the vegetation, but i doubt the placing of them will be effected, so i should think so.

If the 4 official islands remain in AA, then it must be as you would still have all the textures and objects available.

They say &#39;Compatible with community created content&#39; so that means a) missions must be and b) that will at least if not for missions, apply for addons, and changing classnames will muck up addons as say a car addon that has been made to start with a soldier in it will not work then. They&#39;ll probbaly just change the model of e.g. Soldier then take it away and add a completely new one with new classname.

What is about the editor? It will be hopfully remains so like it is yet. Know anyone about that?

All of this which can be answered has been answered, in the press releases and on these forums. A quick search should have given you any info you needed (except system specs, which have not been released AFAIK).
