Hey just got the latest ASE update.

Pretty neat, they have a waiting for players filter.

Now running a dedicated server is feasible.

Just keep refreshing till you can find a dedicated server 'waiting for players'

Perhaps more people will be running dedicated servers now.

I'm trying to convince the author of ASE (he seems to listen a lot) to add an auto refresh list option - so it can tell us when a new server is open to play:

Every time i try to play with somebody eith the eye it says after starting something about "vehicles" and it will not go on and I am not in the game with the others.

And wy has one to pay when the game announces mp as one of its options? Delta Force and Halflife/Counterstrike have good mp features and nobody needs to pay. I think the opf guys had no concept of what are the needs of a global mp comunity.
I would like to know what they are thinking about the mp future of ofp.

they have gamespy arcade intigration. not in the software, but gamespy arcade is FREE.

Are there any special params to add into the server.cfg? My server only shows up in the "unknown" filter.

Looks like my server doesn't send info about it's current state, like gamemode opengame, or gamemode wait etc.

ASE just knows about the version and requiredversion.

I added diffrent params like hostname, maxplayers, reportIP etc to server.cfg, but nothing changes. Are there other params i'm missing?

Any help welcome!
