Swimming

I know you can dive but can you swimm, some time ago I saw a OFP man performing crawl on a picture I saw on OFP.info and it said some guy or girl was making a swimming anim and swimmng ability to the game but I havent heard enything since then and I would like to know has enybody made OFPsim's swimm?

CoC divers can swim, very cleverly done, the transition between walking and swimming is very smooth and without hassle

only downside is that you become invisible (also to enemies)

a swimming animation hasn't been released (AFAIK)

Well, other than animations we would also need to float and be able to see underwater but the camera doesnt go underwater and there is nothing there. Maybe it could be done with alot of work but it wouldnt be very usefull http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/rock.gif .
I think it would be good if the water wouldnt damage soldiers when our head is above its level http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif .

I tried to solve that with setpossing an invisible target when the diver is in the water and that works, enemies fire in the water but you can't kill the diver...

Try this :

Place a satchel on of the banks of the river, take a dive and stay close to the shore. Detonate the satchel and you will see that it doesn't hurt at all. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/sad_o.gif

Download the ROC MOD,they have swimmers under empty >men >swimmer or something like that

As I recall, you could do it the same way USCG did there survival raft, and have it so you are in a boat when you goa certain way down and then have an invisible boat, with a kicking animatation, you could also be killed then aswell, plus your body would slowly sink. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif

Trust me; the best way is still the COC diver.
And swimming sucks anyway because it takes forever.
