xbox ofp delayed till summer 2005?

Is this true,or was there a miss print with the years.
If it is why why why please give us a reason,it looks to me your getting ready to bin this game i know you all at BI are working very very hard but could you let us know whats going on.
If you cancel this game for the xbox could you make sure you do operation flashpoint 2 for xbox 2,

This game was suppost to be out xmas 2003 then it was delayed till summer 2004,now again we have to wait another year till summer 2005  http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/mad_o.gif I cant describe how iam feeling right now, i feel let down.

Xbox2 may be unveiled in January 2005. There's no indications that it would hit the market before 2006.

Codemasters has also delayed Wartime Command: Battle for Europe 1939-1945, its WWII real-time strategy game. Developed by Russian studio IC, the game had been set for a summer 2004 release. However, as of late last week, the game's home page was changed to reflect a new summer 2005 ship date.

Ironically, the delays come as Codemasters is reportedly on the verge of being bought out. British game-industry magazine MCV is reporting that Ubisoft is in "an advanced stage in negotiations" to purchase the Colin McRae publisher. The French publishing giant had been widely reported to be considering acquiring another leading UK game company, Eidos. However, Ubisoft's shares fell 5.2 percent on Monday due to worries that Eidos' estimated $300 million price tag would severely strain its finances.

I do believe the game has been finished by BIS and was sent to Codies. The release date is the only thing slowing things down.

My speculation comes from the OFP2 survey that was made a few days or weeks ago.

I think BIS is finally starting full development on OFP2 now.
