Okay... So Dmitri(you) was an ex-Spetz-Naz in the original campaign?
But then he became a traitor, then joined the Russian Regular Infantry?

I don't understand.
Please fill me into the entire storyline.

I finished the Red Hammer campaign... But I really got confused.

And what motives does Guba have that's so wrong?
He wants to make Russia great again. What's so different from what other Russians want?

And why is Guba attacking Everon, of all places?

Thank you,
Kevin

Why would he become a traitor of his own army by being bumped down to another branch of it? http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif

He joined the Resistance so that would make him a traitor in the eyes of those Russians who were fighting on Everon, although as they were fighting against the wishes of the Soviet State they were the ones who technically were traitors, thus Dimitri became a "good guy" when he joined the resistance.

Well the thread gives away the plot twist so I figured I'd better add ***SPOILERS™*** in there http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

IIRC Dimitri got kicked out because he refused to follow orders, can't remember what those orders were but they were something like the mission in Red Hammer that ends up with a convoy of civilians being murdered.

Okay... Men in Civilian uniforms riding in the back of United States Army Five Ton Trucks..

to me, when I first saw that in the cutscene, I thought "Soldiers in disguise... or Resistance"

Ambushing them wouldn't have been a problem.

However, what I didn't get was why they didn't just mine the road... or use rockets / grenades to blow all of the trucks without having to fire a shot...
