View Full Version : Respawn in Multiplayer
Someone! Anyone! Please, supply me with the tricks, instructions, to allowing RESPAWN to work in multiplayer games..
I hate it when you have to start the entire scenario over from the begining again.
Much appreciated my fellow OFP gamers.

in the Description.ext file put this
make the file if you don't have one
respawn=3
respawndelay=15
make 2 Markers, one for west, one for east
Name: Respawn_West
Name: Respawn_East
and thats about it.
What about other pbo's?
I donloaded "Saving Pvt. Ryan" but it's just a pbo file. No directory or anything just a file.
What do I do about that one..
That is the one I'm really concerned about.
E-Mail me an example file if you could. Hurley@<hidden>

can't, it's compressed and cdes, even the DePBO program does not really work, and it takes some Editing knowlage to add Respawn.
Even if you knew what to do it could not be done, you would need the actual guy who made it to make a second version, only he has the origonal USER file.
Some simply PBO do work with DePBO, but I have not seen any 100% extracted

RN is right. depbo programs cut a few lines off the bottom of a mission. however, depending on what code was there, you may be able to retype it. I have heard of some guys that do this, but i simply do my own missions. If you want a mission that uses respawn to look at and edit, try this one. It respawns men and vehicles. Read the included README.TXT file for install and play info.

if you want respawn simply execute the hl.exe or quake3.exe
