This is the Search and Destroy Campaaing mission of OPF, where you have to destrouy a Scud, well I cant find it?...I walk around the site where it supposed to be, but theres nothing, only ground where the tag is pointing at...is this some sort of a bug or something?..or the scud isnt exactly where the map says it is...help...im stuck here because of that

It&#39;s such a long time since I last played this mission. But I believe I jumped into the jeep with a "few good men". Follow the road to your left. Don&#39;t follow the tag. Stop nearby the woods and keep low. When you exit the woods there will be 3 or 4 tanks roaming around. Sneak your way to the nearest hilltop and - voila- the scud is all yours. Mind you, it&#39;s a good idea to call in the choppers and tanks, as well as ordering your men to attack. It causes some confusion and makes it easier for you&#33;

It&#39;s a while since I&#39;ve played that one too but you might also try going round the back and approaching over the brow of the larger hill at the back of the depression (watch out for spetznatz). It makes getting out alive a little bit easier (especially when your tanks have legged it).

Men dont think im some kind of idiot, really I cant find it&#33;...Ive played the mission for like 30 times by now, and still cant find it anywhere near where it supposed to be, could this be some kind of bug with my game?...I walk around and drive around all the area and theres nothing, and the spot where the tag of the scud is is empty&#33;&#33;&#33;...whats happening&#33;&#33;&#33;&#33;...
THe only things I can see besides a lot of Shilkas, BMPs Tanks and soldiers are , a whole lot of trees and one vigilance tower, but nothing more, Ive even try to shot a LAW at the spot (tag) where it supposed to be the SCUd but nothing......

Try to move your men into the area and you will receive a message about the scuds being moved to another location. Crawl to the hill I mentioned and look down to the valley. Good luck&#33;

nevermind guys, I finally found it&#33;....thanks for the tips tough...
The problem was that the SCUD isnt near were the tag is, and very well protected, so I never get close to it, and when I get to the top of "the Hill", looking down with binoculars the smog wouldnt let me find it, and even if I spoted was too far so I couldnt tell if it was a SCUD or a shilka or tank or wheterver....well its now Red Dawn...

It&#39;s too late now but for future fun I&#39;ll tell you anyway.
Look on your map and see where november (2 AH1&#39;s) are parked. Take 2 guys with you in the jeep. 1 to be your gunner and the other to take the jeep back.

Approach carefully and take out the shilkas, then take out the tanks and BMP&#39;s in the eastern area and call your tank support in through there. If you crash and manage to bail out, run to your jeep and drive back for the other chopper.

To be exact the scud is at Eb53. My tactic was to just go in alone and stay out of sight as much as possible. I send my team to the tanks wich the didn&#39;t survive but still was a good distraction http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif Calling in the tanks and helicopters is a good idea also.
