I got a problem with texview. When I try to open a 24bit uncompressed tga file, it wont load it properly. The wee thumbnail thing doesn't show and just says "topleft.tga (1x1 of 16x16). Its 512x512 also which should work?
The tga was done in PSP 8 with an alpha channel btw.
Any help would be appreciated.

TexView can't read 24 Bit TGAs. Try saving your texture as a 32 Bit (Photoshop has an option for bit-depth when saving, other tools should have something like that too). With 32 Bit TGAs there shouldn't be any problems.

PSP 8 has only got 8, 16 and 24 or something like that...
Saving as a 24 bit tga.....uncompressed is ok as long as it has an alpha channel.
The alpha channel is 8 bits..........so.........24 + 8 = 32.
Hence it is a 32 bit tga.
If it isn't working Waterman, I can only presume there is something wrong with your alpha channel.

OK, thanks anyway. Must be a problem with the alpha channels then...
