Big Problem

Could anyone help me please.
if i play the first mission (cooperated)on my home network we must find three hostages.I am leader and my wife is leader.the other like mornar is assigned by the computer.But if we are shooting around the houses the people just standing there is there a way that they play and shoot as nessesary and not just running with us and standing there.
Is there a manual of how we can say that they must shoot or blow up something .
so we can play with the full group and not just with 2 persons.

Well just like in single player the teamleader can order his teammates to do things. Just hit the backspace and a menu with orders will open...

Has anyone actually figured out how to rescue the hostages? We've played this mission several times and they just stand there. We can never get them to join us or even run around...

kill the enemy....or steal the tank and they surrender as u approach the town....

Oh I thought they would join us as soon as we took the first town. Mission briefing made it sound like they were supposed to help you take the tank base. Oh well http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif
