After killing everyone and stealing the truck, I then head for the repair truck. So far so good. But when I'm supposed to engage the enemy tanks I somehow run out of time. It's absolutely impossible to end this mission. Also, the retry function doesn't work! I allways have to start from the beginning again. To make matters worse, the load function just simply isn't there???

Great game apart from that!

You a utility that let's you save/load more than one time - absolutely necc. here.

The last part is hard, and you can not pick up the guys before repairing your chopper (although they are already there).

Retry it a couple times and disable the vulcan first!

You don't need a third-party utility to let you save multiple times. There's a keypress sequence for that.

Already tried the key press sequence trick. The bloody game erases all your save games and forces you to start from the beggining of the level!
For me it takes away from the realism of the game! I mean in real life, if the squad got killed you would say "f**k it" and fly home! :/

Anyone know how to get past this mission?

There must be a trick? A Cobra or Hind somewhere? It's impossible to destroy two M1A's with rockets!

Ok - maybe not impossible - but hard!
Just got past it http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

It's very easy in my opinion.. I got it done in one try. Just take the jep gun it to the truck, get inside it, and you have plenty of time to engage the tanks.

I don't think we are taliking about the same mission. It is a helicopter, not a truck, you are flying. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Anyway, the trick is to hover at very low altitude. If you are too high, you need to point the nose down and will consequently pick up alot of speed and there simply isn't time for multiple passes overhead the tanks.
