My Paint SHop Pro is only saving TGA's as 24 bit

Can some1 plz tell me how to set the prefferences to save as 32 bit?
so I don't have to take it to Photo shop to convert.

tga files are only 32bit when they have an alpha channel. Otherwise they are 24bit. All ofp textures have alpha channels, texview automatically adds a blank alpha channel to 24bit tga files.

when I save from PSP O2 will not recognise the tga file
but when I take the same file to Adobe Photo Shop and save it there O2 has no problems.

When you save it as tga, does it say 'truevision targa [*.tga]'? I am using psp 6.02, so maybe they updated or changed psp 8's tga format since psp 6

yep 'truevision targa [*.tga]'

I check the options and the sav quaulity bar is set just below medium so I pushed it to the max setting.
Haven't tested it yet but I would say that should fix the problem.
