View Full Version : Nvidia Detonator 22.20 for WinXP
Has anyone tried the new XP 64-bit driver?
How does it compare to the XP/2000 version 21.83?
Never mind. Just realised they are only for Quadro and not for GeForce.

More importantly, XP 64 bit is a _different_ version of XP, for 64-bit CPUs, like AMDs new Sledgehammer...

Yes and no. You are right that the 64-bit edition of XP is for non-x86 processors, but the only one supported right now is the Intel/HP Itanium.
Sledgehammer support isn't even on the horizon...
I Installed XP the other day and had to update my Geforce2 Drivers.
I noticed the 64bit drivers but i had no idea what XP 64bit was so i wen't for the normal ones.
p.s, After installing XP my frame rate in OFP averages 5fps more than it usualy does.

That's interesting -- how do you measure the frame rate under XP? To my knowledge, the only program that measures the frame rate in OFP and other DirectDraw/Direct3D games is FRAPS, and that only works for Windows 95/98/ME.
