Shouldnt BIS create one single conflict where both sides would have all military branches included? I mean Army, Navy and air force with all its goods, armor, airplanes, boats and choppers, infantry and special forces, then there would be navys own SF, armor and planes... Quality instead of quality ***http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/rock.gif . If they plan to recreate 3 diferent conflicts they will have to develop alot of content for the game but will we see a full army? Thats what i wanted to see in OPF and what i would like to see in OPF2. My fear is that they will have to focus on the creation of severall small armys instead of two big powerfull ones (east vs.west) and OPF2 will turn into a guerrila game. Inovation is a good thing but the concept of the original game was great and it is my belief that it would be a better move to extend it. I mean include the air force and the navy this time, give us green berets and seals and armored divisions, jets... well everything and the equivalent to both sides to create two realistic, balanced and powerfull sides. It would expand the game alot and the possibilities for mission design would be really great,we could play diferent roles like in 1985 but would really feel part of the army, navy or airforce. We could play the role of a navy pilot, marine, etc or armored cavalry, army infantry imagine all the possibilities. This is what i believe BIS should try to achieve in OPF2, with realistic units (no more black op http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/crazy_o.gif ), and all of it, we already had a chance to play in a small guerrila side (resistance) and now it would be great to have two realistic military oponents with plenty of diferent roles available.
Could this be achieved if bis decides to recreate 3 distinct conflicts in diferent parts of the world? Why not one major conflict (obviously fictional) but with great realism and including detailed army, AF and Navy for both sides? It would also help to keep the game balanced for MP and would be far more interesting to see the concept of the original OPF expanded to the next level.

As long as there is variety of units and strategy, whether or not it is spread over several scenarios I'll be happy.

It would give mod makers a good showcase of what the new engine can do. This would speed up the release of the updated v1 mods so we can get back into BAS, FDF, I44 etc. ASAP.
