For example, im making a mission where a chinnok takes of with 3 squads, to infantry and one command squad.

Would it not be an idea to group the officers of the infantry squads to the officer in the command squad?

It would save a lot of hassel when it comes down to making same waypoints for different squads

There's no platoon-level command structure in OFP, so no, that can't be done. Unless you're heavily into scripting, that is.

Try my Command Engine (includes a complete mission) over at the OFP editing center (Command Engine by Spinor in the code snippets section). In the mission you are in command of a platoon consisting of three squads + your own squad.
