Icon for mission-editor

How do i get the icon (of a new island) for the editor preview ?
It has to be an paa-file, that much i know, but my search turned up nill.
I even tried converting an screenshot from tga2paa, but nothing seems to work.
Any hint will be deeply appreciated.
