Wierd "config.bincfgaddon" error!!!!!

OK, someone pls help.... Recently I just installed the new ECP addon and I ran Opf seemingly without any problems... but I also didn't notice anything different except for the startup movie was different... Then I went online and played some CTF for a short while when all of a sudden I CTD'd which happens to me now and then. THEN, tonight the night after I run V.1.94 again and I'm getting the message "config.bincfgAddons" before the game starts and I find that I can't change a whole bunch of the video settings, like view distance for example... I'm also getting a missing addon error that I've never had something like "armoredtruck.Maxweapons" or something. And I HAVEN't CHANGED ANYTHING!!!!! One more point of interest.. I found a new folder had been created in my root opf directory called "tmp" Inside I found 5 folders with the names of the people I was playing online with last night. Inside the folders I found sound files and face files but I didn't know that opf created new folders like that when you went online... Is it supposed to? Anyhow my opf is real buggered right now. Any help would be mucho appreciated thx.

1 more thing, I just found out that ver. 1.92 seems to work just fine. It's as though my v.1.94 has been downgraded to a much earlier version somehow.? (no advanced display settings) Does this make any sense? I'm under the impression that either the ECP thing screwed up my game (I removed it I was under the impression that it didn't mess with any of your original files) or somehow my files got screwed up by someone online but that's not possible (is it?) only because I found that "tmp" folder with the player's files in it in my opf root folder. thx.

Should use the ECP topic in the forums.

I think it has to do with the mod uses a modified config and not sure how they arranged it ,i havent tried the addon yet but will soon.
But if thats the case, you would only be able to play on servers using the same modified config or swap it with the original

ya, but, I thought the ECP thing didn't modify any of your original files!!! Anyways the ECP mod worked and loaded just fine, it was after I played on that server that I noticed all the screw-ups, with the ECP still running.
I think I might have to re-install *gasp*.....

HELP!!! I have an update.. (even though only 1 reply so far...) I just COMPLETELY REINSTALLED OPF, cleaned the reg and everything and I'm getting the SAME ERRORs. On 1.92 I get "cfg.worlds" error and on 1.94 I get the same error I posted above! How could this happen??? This is how I installed:

1. OPF cold war CD. reboot.
2.OPF gold upgrade CD. reboot.
3. OPF resistance CD. reboot. (was I supposed to run the 1.46 upgrade here???)
4. 1.90 patch. reboot
5.1985 campaign patch. reboot.
6. 1.91 patch. reboot.
7. red hammer compatibilty patch. reboot.
8. 1.92 patch. run prefs autodetct, "cfgworlds" error. reboot.
9. 1.94 patch. run prefs autodetect, "config.bincfgAddons" error, game starts, get "missing addons: "All.transportMaxweapons" but I removed all my adddons before re-install and I get the old 1.30 video settings screen.

This is screwed! Help please! HEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLlppppppp!

Make sure you cleared out your addons folder after uninstalling as 3rd party addons arent cleared in an uninstall.

Yes I did all that.... AAArgh it doesn't work!!!! All I could find on Avon Lady's FAQ was that a cfg.worlds error means a corrupted config.bin file probably but how is that possible when I did a fresh install??? This is nuts, man! It worked before! Can you feel my pain???!!??!
