Em for some reason when I try to create a cylinder from the menu in oxygen it comes out as flat object, I do recall accidentally selecting some sort of "always do this option" the first time I was playing around with one, is there actually something wrong here and if so can I fix it

Flat which way?, A flat circle(most likely) or a flat rectangle? Did you put in a 'Z' depth for the cylinder?(if you get a flat circle)...

I had the 'make sphere' option crashing O2 until I entered a number higher than 1 in 'segmentX' and 'segmentsY'. The initial entries are'nt always pertinant http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif ...

If your talking about a Solid Cylinder,Are you sure your not selecting "Circle",Just hit "F8" set it up and hit "OK"And it should make you a Solid Cylinder.I dont see how you sre getting a Flat circle.

I have this problem, but only with Spheres. It comes out flat, then says invalid faces detected and crashes. Any help would be appreciated.

I do spheres in 3DS max and then import it. Works well.

Theres a few numbers in there that need to be changed from 1 to 16 or what ever number you want.
there the two that are one up from the bottem. I think.
16 works well. http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif

Thanks, DS, that works. I entered a number above 10 in the 2 segments fields and it didn't crash.
