Can any other programs models/formats be imported into Oxygen?...

There are a few I've seen being given away complete with magazines and I'm wondering if they're worth getting?...

How much does 3Dmax cost? I thought it was an astronomical amount? Is the full version needed?...

Thanks!...

Max 5.1 is around $5.000 US dollars. If your lucky you might find an older used copy of max at $500 and up.But If your looking for a freebie program just look around and find one that you like and as long as it can export to .3ds and save your UV than you are ok.if you want I could look for some for you.oh there are programs that can convert alot of file type. Its called "Deep Exploration".Its just for converting image an model files to other formats.I want want my opion just mail me at NZXSHADOWS@hotmail.com

Thanx!, there's a freebee (full AFAIK!) called Cine4D (or something very simular) that's being given away with a 'PC Art' magazine. Another is called 'TurboCAD6.1', are CAD proggies 3D proggies or are they 'different'?...

The Cine4D looks to be good, but I don't know what to look for in a proggie (what are good/convertable file formats, ect) http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/sad_o.gif , if you could have a look at it I'd be grateful http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif ...

Zanzoza Modeler (ZModeler) is a great tool. I reccomend it for the basic model building process.

Thanx for the links dude! http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif ...

Is'nt Zmodeller a program written by a russian dude? Really big on car games? Need for Speed, Midtown Madness, ect. Is it well supported? lot's of people use it and are willing to help out I mean?. Has it got a good easy interface? What file formats does it use?, I could'nt find any listing in Deep Exploration for it.(because it's not comercial I 'spose?)...

I like the initial look of G~Max the most for some reason, it's free, complete, does'nt have to be reinstalled(or have the registry wiped) every 30days!, I don't have to apply for a trial, and it probably has a good strong comunity for help/tutorials, ect. Do you know what file format it uses?, I 'spose it's 3ds seeing as it's a 'child' of that program/company?...

Which of these two would you peeps recomend the most?, does either have any really usefull plugins that the other does'nt have?...

What do you think of Cinema4D (http://www.maxon.net/index_e.html)? I noticed the 'Deep Exploration' will import C4D files, but won't export to them, I wonder if Cine4D will import any other formats?...

Is there anywhere I can download Deep Exploration? Without having to apply for a demo and wait for a reply, ect...

Thanks again for the help peeps and sorry for the torrent of questions! http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif ...
