I gather I have to un~PBO the data3d.pbo myself because there's fook all in the Buldozer one apart from some lightning strikes and things. Which data.pbo do I uncompress?. One of thems in a folder named 'HWTL'...

Why have the objects I have (when using one [tried both] of the uncompressed data3d.pbo's) appear white and without texture?, if the path was'nt valid the model would'nt show up would it?...

TIA! http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif ...

Basically you need to goto Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\DTA folder and unpbo the "Data3D.pbo" and also the "Data.pbo and stick them into the same named folders you will have in bulldozer. Also as you have said check you have got all your prefs in visitor pointing in the right areas, mine looks like this:

Basic folder = C:\Visitor2
Textures = C:\buldozer\basra
Nature objects = C:\buldozer\data3D
Artificial objects = C:\buldozer\data3D
Forests and roads = C:\buldozer\data3D
World files = C:\buldozer\basra

I was just going to ammend this post myself! http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/biggrin_o.gif ...

I was UN~PBOing 'data3d' only, not doing 'data' as well, (like you say)...

Quick question: some of the models have strange attatchments ( http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wow_o.gif !!) like the AH1 model, it has a couple of the 'box with arrow in' things attatched to it. Is this right? They won't show up ingame will they? http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/tounge_o.gif ...

This has to be the most unmoderated forum here eh?...

Believe it or not, I do actualy look through the previous 9~Pages of posts before asking, but I only seem to find the thread with the answer after I've posted my noobish questions http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/crazy_o.gif (most 'white texture' Q's were about land texture, I thought!) ...

I did'nt realise V2 was released this summer! I thought they would of put it out long before now? http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/rock.gif . Oh well!, it's 'Breathe'd new life into OFP for me http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/smile_o.gif ...

You know the 'thing' you follow around in buldozer? It's like a cube with an arrow inside it?. There's two of those stuck to the AH1 model(might be the AH64) in data3d, oh yeah!, and a little american flag pinned to it's ass!!  http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/tounge_o.gif ...

I found the textures for crossroads out last night!. kr_silnicexsilnice.p3d and a load of others for side roads, kr_asfaltka_asfaltka_t.p3d ect, all begining with 'kr_'.

Try adding the 'silcniceXsilcnice' one to the cross roads tool option. Add the others to the road 'specials' box and see what gives...

I hav'nt got as far as trying to make a road properly yet http://forums.bistudio.com/oldsmileys/wink_o.gif ...

I downloaded pics for all the objects in darta3d from CIA's site lastnight. Some good info in that site!!...
