Multiplayer Probs

Everytime a host starts a game my CD starts and it says the countdown begins and then my whole computer shuts down completely and restarts. i am running v1.3 i have plenty of memmory and graphic card is top of the line. the game plays fine in singleplayer. please help

does the host have the "no splash" set up on his exe?

Not sure if that would do anything but I'm assuming that is the only difference?

No Splash? What is that and how would i fix it?

If you add a shortcut to your desktop to opf, then in its properties you'll see something like
Shortcut: "C:\Program Files\Codemasters\OperationFlashpoint\operationfla shpoint.exe". add -nosplash after the last " and the game will boost up it's startup, by skipping the codemasters logo, the fade message and the BIS log.

ok i added no splash to it that skipped the logo
but the same problem exists. I still cannot play online my computer still shuts down.
