Any Solution to .wss sound format?

I know this has been run through the forum again and again ang again, but has anyone found out how to convert a .wav file into a useable .wss file? What's this BS about filecheck? d*amn I wish I had a non-f00ked version.

Anyone get working custom sounds made in .wss format?

Would it be possible to stick a few .ogg files in the sounds.pbo file and replace some of the .wss files that are in there? Would that work at all? Can I mix them up, or will it screw up the config?

I have already asked this once, but didnt get any response. What I mainly asked was why there are one soundformat in the game and one as an .ogg addon...
And why there are both .wav and .wss in the pbo file.
Dont know. If were lucky the wss converter will pop up after the Gold upgrade.
