I doubt this works, buts its worth asking here.
Can the OFP dedicated server host the single missions? I wasn't a big fan of the game itself, but I really do enjoy the single missions and multiplayer -- it would be nice to have a single machine able to host these missions versus running them locally.
The only reason why I ask this is the single mission, Battlefield. Great mission (would totally love to have it as a multiplayer mission), but it hurts my brothers box a great deal -- making it impossible to play. If a dedicated server could host that missions (an adequate server of 700mhz+, 256 megs of ram+, etc), he could play it on his box. The dedicated server could surely host the AI, etc, making his client not have to deal with that extensive CPU overhead.
Also, an extension of this server would be hosting a SP game that could be ran multiplayer. Its just a thought and would be really cool if it did exist.
