View Full Version : AH1 missing Machine Gun...
Ok in my quest to building missions I am trying to figure out why my AH1's do not have Machine Guns on them. i thought they were default.
What command do I need to use in the script to add this or other weapons to the AH1?

The AH-1 has 3 weapons systems, the machine gun, the TOW's and the unguided rockets. Just press space to toggle which weapon you wan to use.
I don't think you understood me...
I have a Mission with 5 AH1's and they do not have Machine Guns. (I know how to select weapons IN GAME). The problem is they just don't have the Machine Gun in them... very weird...
So how do I put them in or add other weapons?
You cant add a gun to a chopper.
If i'm correct you have to choose another chopper that does have a machine gun. Don't know the name off the chopper by heart. But there are a few that have machine guns. Just try the other choppers in the list.

The Cobras have a machine gun, and if you fly with no human gunner and you are using 1.29 you can select manual fire and fire them.
But if your point was that the d*amn Cobras never fire on enemy troops on the ground, that is normal.
If your point was that you put in a Cobra, then jump in by yourself and you cannot switch to machine guns, then you are just hosed. Reinstall. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/ikonboard3/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

No... I mean that whenever I make a mission with AH1's they do not have the 30mm Machine guns... they are equiped with TOW's and Missles but no gun...
You can visably see it on the front of the Chopper but when you hop in as Pilot you cannot select them... they aren't there.
Seems to me your OFP is fading away......

BTW, I own my OFP... and run a d*amn good server with lots of respectable people on it.
We know when a hacked version comes on as it clearly states "Remember Original Games Do Not Fade".
Mine wasn't fading... it was a bug in a map... it has since been resolved.
